Q: Can it really hold 300 cars? It doesn't look that big...

We currently have 50 cars in the box and there is a LOT of room left. I think it would easily hold 300 cars.

Q: Does it have trays inside to hold the cars?

No...it does not have multiple trays to hold the cars...it's just an open storage box...but each side has a zipper that you open and it folds down into a play mat. Then you can use the lid to hold the cars.

Q: Does the top lid zip on and off? I cannot tell from the pictures. I looks like it just rests on top.
