Got this to work with a hamster we have that isn’t friendly and likes to bite! She bit us three times while we wore the gloves and it didn’t hurt at all. Hoping she gets used to us handling her then will be able to take the gloves off someday! Gloves worked great but they do have a very strong chemical smell.

Great protection when holding my hedgehog. Also, used when I bathed her with no problems.

Our rat stopped biting upon seeing these but that didn't last. He bit right through them! Not so much protection as we expected.

First off these should not be used for small animals as they are just garden gloves. Second the stunk to high heaven when I opened the package. the rubber is sticky and sticks to everything.

Tested on my hamster whose primary method of communication is through his teeth. While these gloves help reduce the initial sharpness of his teeth, they do little to protect against anything more than a nibble, and you WILL feel the full force of a bite.

Love these, they work amazing when I want to take my hedgehog out for play time. They work absolutely amazing. Better than I had even expected.

Perfect. My son is able to use these while petting his hamsters and the hamsters have stopped biting since using them plus it help build confidence in my son to hold them.

I'm a manager of a pet store and purchased these for my associates who regularly handle birds and small animals. The gloves are nice and the black bite proof area of them does hold up. However the issue is that this black area needs the cover more of the fingers to protect them. The pair I recieved didn't have nearly enough coverage and that was discovered the hard way..

It is very effective. I am glad I ordered them they aren’t too big and feel light on my hands I can handle my hedgehog without being prickled
