Good portability! Dropped the temperature of my keyboard substantially
I had a trip planned not very long after ordering this cooler. My main laptop cooler, by this same company I believe, works FANTASTIC, but it is much too large to travel with. I was very excited for this one, entirely different set up. It kind of clamps onto your laptop and acts as a vacuum sucking out hot air from the side of your laptop. The charger itself isn’t much larger than a mouse, and its gets its power from the laptop so no extra plug in needed. My laptop gets extremely hot around where my CPU is, and this did fantastic as managing it. I didn’t get exact heat measurements but normally my laptop can get so hot that typing on the keyboard is physically uncomfortable. This set up kind of needs to use used at a desk, it would work in your lap or something but the unit just hangs off the side and its probably more at risk that way. Would recommend this for traveling, fantastic company and products.

Packs some power.
I have a 4090 in my laptop, as well as a laptop cooler stand. I thought I was taking a chance on getting this, but I'm pleased so far. I've yet to notice any game fps loss, but whenever I touched the bottom of the laptop, it was insanely hot. I bought this fan hoping it would help on top of the cooling stand. I can feel the hot air blowing out well; it has many fan settings, and at the highest, you will slightly hear it run. My laptop also has two vent ports, 1 on each side, one for the CPU and the other for the GPU. I could pick up another for the CPU side, but I probably will not unless my laptop starts having heat issues. Also, don't expect miricles with this fan, just an ounce of prevention is my philosphy.

works really well
i put two of these on both side vents of my gaming laptop and now my laptop runs at 81 degrees at the most when playing super graphics heavy games that use to run at 110 degrees F. make sure your laptop has plenty of clearance and airflow and you can run basically anything

Defaults to Celsius, not Fahrenheit
This fan works great, but the pics are slightly misleading. It defaults to Celsius every morning and I have to reset every day. That being said, it’s solid, it cools well (even on auto). My work laptop is 3+ years old and I routinely have multiple large Excel files open at once so I’m maxing out my processor and RAM on a regular basis. This keeps my temp under 100° F while working. I have my laptop on a riser and I haven’t had any issues with it falling off once I got it seated. The suction cup base is flimsy plastic and not worth considering, but the metal plate with the silicone sleeve works fine, even without exposing the tape.

Quality control issues
Worked one day. Next day, it powers off and on constantly (in manual mode). Of course powering off and on switches to auto mode, so I reset it to manual, and way for the cycle to repeat. I concur with complaints about instructions. There is a language issue. The first day it worked was great, noisy but great. It really cooled my CPU, with temperature reporting consistent with Lenovo vantage measurements. It was cheap, so I'll right it off, but save your money. <UPDATE> Although it appears to have a mind of its own, it is cooling my Lenovo P73 now. I just don't bother with the settings (AT/MT, whatever) and let it run. It's loud, but for the money, it's working.

Actually works
Was skeptical on first impression and when learning to install, but I am actually impressed. This little thing does more on it's own than a cheap cooling pad. To be fair, I am fighting a known piece of junk with heating issues in an ASUS F15 laptop that is frequently hot and CPU throttled when gaming, and not much makes any difference short of a GT500 pad and the jet turbine engine level of noise that goes with it. I find that auto mode is not aggressive enough and I must run it manual mode with fan on highest setting, but this little vacuum by itself actually takes the top off the temps - laptop is still overheating, but less so, and it is obvious to me when playing a game that the CPU is not continuously throttled. This vacuum combined with a cheap (quiet) cooling pad makes the laptop usable, just not so much of a portable device...

Good
Only thing wrong was because of where my vents are won't work on my laptop. If you open the screen it knocks it off. But everything worked as supposed to and really moves air.

Fantastic external fan for laptop gaming
Was skeptical if this would really cool my laptop (Asus scar 15). I have a gaming laptop because I travel often, but from the two laptops I've had in the past, and reviews from others, I know these things can run HOT! Hot enough that I fear my performance might be affected, as well as the laptops overall component health. I bought one of these fans as a trial and after an hour of gaming (heavy use of graphics card and CPU) I immediately bought another. Laptop typically is very warm/hot to the touch after gaming. With this fan, it was lightly warm when gaming and cool when just using the laptop generally. TLDR: this fan WILL cool your laptop as long as youre putting it on the correct output fans.
