I bought this product after reading about Diatomaceous Earth online. I use this product specifically for natural health and wellness, and it has lived up to it's "hype" considerably. Diatomaceous Earth is touted highly for its benefits in gut health, ridding the body of toxins, fungi, parasites, bad bacteria, wastes, etc. The Nature's Wisdom brand is the ONLY one I buy because I want to ensure (a) I am purchasing food-grade DE, (b) the company is well-known and reputable, and (c) I know that my product comes in a container that is tamper-proof. This specific item meets all of my requirements and I recommend it to all of my acquaintances that are interested in trying DE. For use, I take one teaspoon of Nature's Wisdom DE daily. The DE itself is highly ground, milled down to an almost fine powder. (Think baby powder consistency.) I would NOT recommend inhaling this powder for safety reasons-although it is virtually odorless, fragrance-free. To ingest it, I just scoop my 1 teaspoon into 1/4 cup of water, stir gently, and drink it down. It is recommend to take the DE on an empty stomach daily but I prefer taking mine at night, after my dinner has digested. Diatomaceous Earth DOES NOT prompt bowel movements like Senna, but it does help ones stools to be less liquid and more solid. This is evidence of the DE removing toxin and buildup in the gut area. I have been using Nature's Wisdom DE for several weeks now and have noticed a huge difference in my wellness. No weird side effects or aversive reactions. My skin is clearer, bowel movements are healthier, and this is coming from someone diagnosed with Leaky Gut Syndrome and autoimmunity conditions. I would highly recommend this product.

Saying what it did for me is against the rules because the Dr's of Amazon don't agree even though it helped me they won't show it .

This is great for hair skin and nails.I use this with powdered bentonite clay.A steamer(I use a fabric steamer with a tank and hose) I use for pest control.A steamer will kill everything from dust mites to carpet beetles to roaches to fleas to lice and their eggs.I steam in one spot for two long seconds(one one thousand 2 one thousand) then move to next spot same thing. It can take hours per room.I do pillows mattress drapes comforters blankets sheets get washed and dried that is effective.I steam everything chairs sofas clothing can all be washed and dried. I put anything in trash bags tied if I question until can be washed.We do not have allergy attacks sleep well no dust mites to bother us

I’ve seen cheaper but this one is one I buy over and over again. So far I have never had a problem with it. I use it for reported health benefits and feel safe with this brand.

For three months, I have been fighting a never ending battle with a flea infestation. Not having pets (my apartment neighbors do), I became the feast for these fleas. I followed the advice from several websites - vacuumed daily, washed the bed linens 3-4 times a week, etc. To help prevent the fleas from biting me, I consumed large amounts of garlic and bathed in vinegar water every night as well as sprayed vinegar water on my sheets. This worked for maybe 2-3 hours. I would wake myself up scratching.Having read through all the comments about DE on this website and a few other websites, I took all good and bad commentary to heart to maximize my results. What worked for me:1.) I purchased DE, the Pest Duster, and Bed Bug Patches (all sold on Amazon). The Bed Bug Patches work! If interested, I posted detailed comments for those and for the Pest Duster on this website. You do need the Pest Duster as DE is rather heavy and you want a fine dusting all over your home.2.) Fill the Pest Duster LESS THAN one quarter full of DE. This is also enough for one large room. If you fill it with more, the DE will come out quite heavy. The first few LIGHT squeezes will be heavy. I suggest to use those first squeezes under the corner of carpets or in dark corners where fleas most likely breed and lay their eggs. Remember to always squeeze lightly!3.) You may wish to wear eye glasses and cover your nose and mouth with a scarf or dust mask. Spray close to the floor - maybe six to eight inches away. The DE will rise up in the air and linger. I did not find it hurtful as some people reported, but it does get into your nostrils. For the bed, I sprayed the mattress and mattress pad. Also, make certain to spray the sofa cushions, underneath the sofa cushions, throw pillows, behind the drapes, underneath furniture - everywhere! Once you dust with DE, your furniture will also have a fine layer of DE dust. Being desperate, I left it on the furniture. I drove me crazy not to dust my furniture, but being bitten as badly as I have been, it is much more important to not leave anything to chance and just hope to kill all of the fleas.4.) I read that best results were to leave the DE in the carpet for one to two weeks (flea life cycle). I left everything as is for 12 days. I then thoroughly vacuumed, dusted, washed all bed linens, etc. During this time, I didn't think the DE was working as I still had fleas. I even sprayed more DE in, under, and around my bed every other day or so. NOTE: Some people complained that the DE caused problems with their vacuum cleaners. After I vacuumed one room, I cleaned the filter and the bagless area to prevent this from occuring. It may have not been necessary to clean it this often, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. No vacuum problems.5.) After the vacuuming and cleaning, I re-dusted with DE. I then noticed that the flea problem was so much less than it had been even though I had vacuumed every day prior to using DE. Last night (Day 4 since I dusted a second time with DE), I slept all through the night without a Bed Bug Patch, garlic, or vinegar water. I am going to continue with the DE a few more times to just make certain that the fleas are gone. I will also continue to dust by my doors for any other fleas that think they should move in with me in my home.
