Great product
GL 1800 installation. A bit tough to apply but well worth the effort. Increased my grip circumference to a much more comfortable level. I used rubbing alcohol as directed. Apply liberally, ready to ride immediately.

Installed these on a 2006 BMW F650GS
Installed these on a 2006 BMW F650GS. Being a new rider, though I try to avoid maintaining a death grip, I do tend to grip the bars a little bit too tight too often, such that my fingers go numb frequently. Very uncomfortable! But aside from my grip issues, I also felt the stock heated grips were rather narrow and hard, resulting in an uncomfortably tight grip position as well as being conducive to transferring this single cylinder bikes vibrations into my hands.Getting them on was a bit of a pain, as the BMW heated grips have an outboard rubber rim larger in diameter than the inner portion of the grip. I got around this by inserting a smooth plastic tube in the Grab On Grip Cover and sliding this tube over the outer grip rim on the bike, sort of like a "shoe horn" for the Grab On Grip Cover. It allowed me to "push" the foam covers on. Once mostly over the grip, I could pull the plastic tube out with some effort. I used soapy water to help things slide.A very noticeable difference on my first ride with the Grip Covers. MUCH less hand fatigue and no numbness. These make for a larger diameter grip (more comfortable for me) and dampen a great deal of vibration. I also added a "Crampbuster" to compliment these covers. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the manner in which the product is packaged and shipped. The Grip Covers are flattened in their package, resulting in two creases where each "tube" has been flattened. Yes these disappear once the product is installed, but I bet when they do split in a few years time, it will be along one of these creases. This product should be in a blister pack so the tubes remain round and are not crushed flat. The price is right though and the comfort gains a huge plus!

Still a Bargain!
I've use Grab-On products for years, particularly their foam grips. They won't work with bar-end weights or mirrors so I use these covers. Honda's factory grips are skinny and hard and not pleasant for me for even short periods of time. I buy these to slide over the factory handgrips and all is right with the world.Installation is simple but requires a little prep and patience. The end of the grips is flared, so sliding doesn't actually work. Take a little soapy water and coat the inside of the Grab-On covers and the handgrip. Work the end of the cover over the flare, then push the cover inward while twisting back and forth. It's important to coat the inside of the cover as well as the grip, and work fairly quickly. When the water dries, the cover is locked in place.Hair spray works well, too, but you have to be quicker, as it dries quicker. This all takes about the same time or less to do it than to read it. Do it once, and the next time it will go even faster. These covers wear very well and don't seem to have a problem with UV breaking them down. This size should fit any bike with 7/8" bars, which is pretty much all Japanese bikes and a lot of others. The throttle side is a little thicker but that's ok. These will work. They add a little softness and diameter to the factory grips and absorb a little vibration.PRO TIP: remove the Honda grips and replace them with softer, more comfortable grips. Many riders have a personal preference that the Honda grips don't meet. Add the Grab-On covers and life is good.I have bought and will buy these again. These were purchased with my own money and I did not receive a discount for my objective (and subjective where noted) review.

Works as intended
Installed on a 2014 BWM K1600 GT, with assistance from an air compressor. Would be impossible to install without the air compressor or some other similar trick, pretty easy with the air compressor. Fit is fine, overlaps the end cap on the throttle grip by maybe 1/4", but the end cap is quite slick and the grip is pretty stick so it works. You can't feel a meaningful resistance in the throttle action. The clutch now comes all the way to the grip, but this also does not bother me.My primary goal is to protect the BMW grips (which are asymetrical - standard replacment grips are circular in the inside end, the BWM grip is ovaloid). Getting BMW grips is extremely pricey - ergo some disposable foam grips to protect the BMW grips (which were showing substantial wear).Feel is fine, warmth still comes through with the heated grips turned on - though it takes a bit longer and is a little muted. I also like the larger outside diameter the foam grips create.

King Kong's got nothing on these.... UPDATE if you lube up King Kong it slides right in.
SECOND BUY REVIEW:I have learned a thing or two about these things...1) They are a consumable (I get about 5k miles on them then the left one splits because of how I hold the clutch. I don't mind that. They are cheap and keep the handles looking fresh.2) WD-40! WD-40! WD-40! WD-40! WD-40! WD-40! WD-40! WD-40! WD-40! WD-40! WD-40! WD-40! WD-40! I light squirt of that inside the grip and on the handle. The hard part is getting it started. I used the two finger stretch approach. . . then boom! slid right on this time. Amazing!!The first time I just used water and soap... it was a struggle and I broke one while putting it on.ORIGINAL REVIEW:One-for-one replacement for the same grip covers I had. They split after many miles of abuse so I replaced them with the same product. Came with two packs of two... probably I was unclear about whether there was one or two grips in a package. Mistake ended up being a good one though as I monkey fist'd them in place with soapy water I split one (busted)...luckily I had the other pack.HA! Mr. B - 1 Mr. Murphy - 0You do need to be an 800lb gorilla to get them over the BMW 1150's factory grips. I recommend patience, soap and water, and the biggest cowboy you can find. Once they are one... they are going no where! Great product.
