After four months of usage I decided to discard this case. While it provides good protection for the iPhone but I found it to be very cumbersome, bulky, and has many design flaws. It actually masks the sleek design of the iPhone and changes the way it feels and looks. I have always struggled to plug in the lightening cable because of the small plastic cover at the bottom that always stand in my way unless I hold it open with one hand while trying to insert the cable with the other. The case does not stand on its own for viewing and had to lean on something else (so it lacks a feature that I find in many other lighter and sleeker cases). The case also makes the volume controls non-responsive because they are covered with plastic and do not respond to pressure easily.

I received this case free for a review of the product and I am impressed with it. As you can see from the video, it is very much like an Otterbox Defender case, but at a fraction of the cost. This case is very rugged and I sense that it will protect the iPhone 7+ very well for drops. It has a plastic inner layer that fits very securely over the iPhone. This inner layer is then surrounded by an outer silicone layer that should absorb most of the shock from drops. It also has a holster that seems very sturdy. It has a very tight clip which is good because it ensures that the clip will secure it very well to your pocket or belt. One added benefit of this case is that it does not come with a built in plastic screen protector but instead they include a glass screen protector that you have to install on your phone. These glass screen protectors are so much better because they retain the natural feel of the iPhone screen itself. My only complaint about this phone and the reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of how high the plastic cover is raised. This lets very little light in to the sensor, so the phone thinks it is darker than it actually is. This messes up the auto setting on your screen brightness. Of course this is a minor problem because you can always manually adjust your display brightness. It is more of an inconvenience. Having said that, I would still recommend this case to anyone that lives an active lifestyle or that wants top of the line protection for your phone. I would definitely pay for this case if I ever needed another one.

This is the third time I've bought a case. First one did not cover camera lens, second one was cheap plastic and cracked, and now this heavy duty case. It's a little bulkier than other ones but offers great protection with good holding capabilities. All buttons and openings work as should. Love the screen protector, no bubbles, that's a first.

... I have switched!The price alone made me very speculative on the quality of this case. However, I am no longer a skeptic! You will save over $40 by getting this case and you get the same great protection as you would with your Otter Defender.It feels sturdy, has triple protection, the power connects easy, the speakers are easily heard and the clip is flexible and rugged. What else do you want?I'm glad I got this case and not the Otter.

I dropped my phone down 3 flights of stairs (I know I’m awful) but can I tell you that when I got to the bottom of the stairs, my phone was OK! I expected the worse but boy did this case do it’s job! My boyfriend was in total shock. I actually want to buy another one soon!

This item is as described,...if not better. So far,..it is the best phone case for the money, that I have found anywhere. At this price point, it is a no-brainer...... and regardless of your own personal experience/opinion, I doubt very seriously that you would regret the purchase.

Besides the fact that it is heavy and doesn't allow to connect many devices to its lighting input, the belt clip got broken after 11 month of rather gentle wearing. I see that the item has one year warranty. I am still looking for the description how to execute that warranty..

I bought this for my husband a few years ago, but overall worked well. It did its job and matched with everything since it was black. The clip was useful for accessing his phone quickly during work.
