I drive of 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 TRX 5.7L and noticed my truck was having trouble starting, I tested the battery and alternator and both seemed fine, I got an estimate both from a dealer an independent shop to replace the starter and they both came in at $400+. It looked pretty easy to replace, so i picked up this part of amazon that amazon said fit my truck and with a basic socket set, I had it changed in about 30min. Super easy and works perfectly now! I did the repair about a year ago, wanted to make sure the part help up for a while before writing a review, so far so good!

Came safely packaged with a print out of the spec test of done of the starter where it PASSED inspection before shipment. Easy to install. I did it in 30 mins and saved hundreds of dollars. Truck cranked up fast on the fits turn. I'm am unsure of the longevity of this part but at these prices and the ease of installation, I'm good with it. This starter was an exact fit for my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. Starters are such an easy swap, that even the basic handyman can do it themselves. Best thing about this starter was the price. It’s a fraction of the cost of starters sold in auto parts stores, and the bonus is you don’t have to deal with a core charge and bringing the old part back to the store. I fully recommend this starter.

I purchased this starter for a friends 05 Dodge Ram 5.7L. I must say, this is a project any could’ve done. I am a lady & I changed this in less than 10 minutes.The truck sounds like a whole new exhaust/turbo was installed. It drives much better

This product was a fraction of the price that it costs to buy the same product from an auto parts store. It came directly to my house quicker than it would have shipped to the auto store for me to pick up. I cannot speak for longevity because it has only been on the truck for a couple months but have had zero issues thus far. To me this product is no different than buying a refurb from any auto parts store. Highly recommend!
