Itโs stainless!
So far so good. Like the length and weight. And itโs STAINLESS. I lost my Fortress anchor while beaching my boat due to the previous galvanized chain breaking a link from rust. Against all odds I randomly stepped in my anchor while placing my stern anchor up front as a temporary fix. I took that as a sign from God to get a stainless chain, which I did. The shackles are curiously large and I was going to put my smaller ones on, but I liked the key ring they used to keep everything from unscrewing. That key ring DID snag my new anchor line that I also bought, but it turned out to be cheap quality line that I am returning for the name brand one, so Iโm banking on the snag being a result of the line quality.

Sturdy chain. It has a great finish with locking threaded pins that wonโt back out due to the O ring design. Happy with it!
