I love the whole line of these products from this company. I don't know if it is the face wash or the toner but my dark spots on my face have lightened up considerably. The moisturizer is unbelievable and all their products have fantastic scent. I used to use Olay no longer this is now my go-to product for my face.

Leaves your skin clean and glowing.

They say cleansing the skin is the most important step in any skincare routine. But for something so simple, it can be hard to find a good cleanser that is effective yet gentle. This product is a good contender because it cleans without stripping the skin and it boast a relatively short ingredient list. Who knew xanthan gum, inulin, chicory root and magnesium (amongst others) could be found in a facial cleanser? Any how, this cleansing gel will not only clean your skin, but it will also help brighten it with Vitamin C and the aforementioned chicory root. It also claims to nourish the microbiome of the skin which helps keep everything in balance (aka clear, hydrated skin). I like that it is made in the USA and is part of a collection of similar type products for the face. This cleanser always feels like a treat when I use it.

I liked how well this did for my skin. I have really oily skin and this seemed to help rather well in combating that oil without drying my skin way out. The only thing I didn't like was the orange peel smell it had. It's not something that would keep me from buying it but I wasn't a fan of it.

I ordered ShiKai - Healthy Glow Microbiome Gel Cleanser (4 oz) - Nourishing Facial Cleanser to wash my face. I have sensitive skin so I'm pretty particular with what I use.The cleanser is a thin "gel" - think, thin liquid hand soap - that comes out pretty quickly. I used less the second time I squeezed some out.It has a very light orangey scent. It goes on my skin well (using water to wash my face) and leaves it feeling soft; not dried out at all.I've had no reaction to using this product for two days so far and that says a lot. I will update my review if anything changes, but at this time I will say this is a face wash I like and will continue to use.

Returned the product. Irritated and burnt skin. Only bought because shikai is discontinuing their borage cleanser and moisturizer

I am absolutely in love with this microbiome gel facial cleanser! It is so gentle on my skin and leaves it feeling clean, fresh and hydrated. Unlike other cleansers I've tried in the past, it doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped or dry. The best part is that it smells amazing too! I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a gentle yet effective cleanser that promotes a healthy microbiome. Definitely a new favorite in my skincare routine! It's my new go-to foaming cleanser.

This is a beautiful cleanser for my sensitive skin. It is a gel, which comes out pretty fast and you don't need a lot. It has a very light scent of citrus, which is really nice. I haven't used it to take off make up because I really haven't been wearing any. But it cleanses my face and leaves it feeling soft and smooth.I highly recommend this cleanser...This cleansing gel is made in the USA.
