EBCBrakes MD521 Brake Rotor, Black

I installed this rotor on my 2011 FLHRC, Road King Classic with ABS while I changed my tire. I used the EBC Brakes EBPCK1015 Complete Semi-Sintered V-Pads Brake Pad Change Kit, which is a kit for all four front pads and the rear two pads. These rotors look GREAT after a summer of riding, and perform great.I can't say I heated them up enough to use the benefits of the floating rotor system, but if I did, I wouldn't know, because they're transparent. You don't know they're there, unlike a lot of 'performance' parts. No trade-offs here.Just great-looking, well-made premium parts for your premium bike.A note on ABS compatibility: I made one 'panic stop' that I wouldn't consider a panic stop, because I knew I was going to stop. Heading up to Americade in lake George NY, a car with an out-of-town family swerved in front of my to not miss the on ramp to the Adirondack Northway, rte 87. Now, if you know how ABS works, you'll know nothing is rougher on brakes besides 'riding' the brakes. I stood on my brake pedal, and only my ABS kept me from becoming a trunk ornament for a New Jersey's family van. No problems.I would not hesitate to buy these again.

Looks good on the Road King and good fit well worth the money

It's the correct product MD521 but not black as advertised, came in polished chrome. However didn't see any black ones in the EBC catalog either, may need to revise the advertising.

Even though the description says it's black, it is NOT black. Very disappointing when a company can't even get the description correct. The quality looks good. I would have given a higher rating if I received what I actually ordered.

The part number listed is for a chrome center rotor. I knew this when I ordered and that’s what I received. I installed it on a 2017 Road Glide Ultra and it fits perfectly. Color was not important to me on a touring bike as the rotor is not visible. If your rotor is exposed and you want a black rotor order elsewhere. 4 stars for this reason only so people are aware of what they are receiving. Otherwise great product as always from EBC.

Fast shipping. This rotor is as thick as the stock rotor, unlike many aftermarket. It is a floating rotor unlike the stock rotor.
