I've had this ashtray for about 2 weeks now. First and foremost, for the money - it's worth it. The flame on the match can be a bit large, but that probably has more to do with me not trimming the wick properly then anything else. If I had to nitpick, the only thing that's mildly annoying is I can't strike the match one handed. I need to hold the ashtray still with my other hand. But that's true with any match you strike - box in one hand, match In the other. Perhaps it will be easier the more I use it. I also can't speak to how long the flint or wick lasts, or how hard they are to replace.But all that aside, it does exactly what it says on the box - ashtray with 3 holders around the edge, built in permanent match and striking strip. It's easy to use, and honestly has a nicer appearance than I was expecting. It seems like pretty nice quality, especially considering I paid like 12 bucks. So hopefully this review helps. I took the gamble sheerly based on price and shipping times (I'm in California and got it in less than a week) and am very happy with it.

I bought two of these, one for my father in law and one for our back porch when he visits. The instructions that came with the ashtray does not specify what oil to use. I looked at the listing and it said to use Kerosene. I bought Kerosene and filled the reservoir. The match would not light. It made plenty of sparks, but no fire. I then tried Zippo lighter fluid. I even rinsed out the Kerosene with the lighter fluid. I was only able to get the match to light after about ten tries. Once the match was hot, it would light every time, just like on the seller's video. But once it cooled down, it would take another ten or twelve strikes to get it to light again. We live in Central Florida and it is summer, so I would expect this thing to light at room temp. Also, only the inside of the ashtray and the three depressions where the cigarette go are made of metal. The rest is plastic.

Product works great. Just having a a bit of a hard time lighting it up in one time. Other than that, it works perfectly great!

When i ordered this product i expected it to be low quality and cheap. I was Honestly surprised to see that it really was metal and had a good solid weight to it. The striker was a little tricky at first but i realised you just had to hold it at a 90⁰ angle when you strike it to make it light. So far ive had no problems and im very happy with the quality for the price.

Uses alot of kerosene and way too close to the striker cause it to catch fire when you stirke the lighter stick cause fluid in chamber to get low and having to keep refueling, the wick on it burns absurdly fast & have to replace with a q-tip , kit should include interchangeable wick set as well since it lacks the $4 zippo fluid that you can get at any smoke shop or covienent store. Other then that solid ashtray great color on the black and sturdy design love the micro fiber place mat underneath to prevent sliding when its on rough surfaces great place for my ottoman! Also have another in the bedroom! Great buy for $12 just can use additional maintenance features as in a wick set & a longer kerosene tube
