I bought these along with the silver reflective tape which I’ve tied around the base of each owl & it blows in the wind.I’ve put one on the front of the roof & one at the back.I think they’re working. Definitely less pigeon poo on our balcony.

I’ve placed it in front of where I park my car and there’s no more bird poop on my car.Earlier on, the car used to be pooped on.Excellent remedy.

Doesn't work
They don't work unfortunately. The birds will stay away for a day or two but will quickly realise the owls are faking. I even moved them every few hours to new places but didn't work. At one point a bird was sitting on the owls head lol.

The crows were not scared. Getting more violent. Just pushed these off. Very angry with me, 10 or 12 at a time. Broke my bird feeder with increased violence. Thinking of Hitchcock movie, The Birds…. Useless.

Helped keep the mockingbirds out of my garden
Go away, mockingbird! I used these fake horned owl decoys to help protect my tomatoes, blueberries, and blackberries, and they definitely made a difference.They are not 100% effective, of course, but they cut down on the carnage in the garden. Before using them, the birds were doing a lot more damage. After placing the owls around the garden, I noticed fewer problems and was able to save more of the fruit and vegetables.Overall, these are a useful and affordable deterrent. They are easy to place, easy to move around, and worth trying if birds are helping themselves to your garden.
