THE CLIP ENDS are in no way rated for 600 pounds, based on the thickness of the material used & weight i estimate a 30 lbs safe working load for the clip its self would not recommend as a safety lanyard on a tuna rodgood for tools but nothing heavy or valuablesave your money buy the less exspensive ones on amazon at least they give an honest weight load limit
