will it resist fading in the sun and rain if used for a garden stake marker?

I used the marker on a pvc run that is exposed to the elements. It holds up to the rain.UV will degrade it gradually. I check the pipes once a year. The markings were %70 readable after 365 days. I would suggest reapplying every 6 months for best results.

Concerning the prices as indicated; why would i spend $3.49 for a (4 pack), & $21.99 for a (8 pack)??? would not two (4) packs be a much better deal?

These are excellent quality. I bought a pack a few years ago and just restocked it. I plan to keep one in each area where I use them. Nice sharp point. These markers last a long time. I'm very happy with them.

is this marker or china wax markers better for marking on ceramic tile?

Have not tried on ceramic tile but the china wax markers do better on metal.
