Good selection of scraper sizes. Nice sturdy grips and the blades have a nice amount of flex, great for general scraping and also for applying filler, grout etc.

This scrapers are easy to hold and very strong. I am not the strongest person so having a scraper that was so light and flexible yet able to move the paint so effortlessly off the wall was a big plus.

How good these scrapers are depends on what you need them for. First off, the blades are thin and flexible, so they’re not heavy duty. In fairness though, these are advertised as paint and putty scrapers/knives, so you wouldn’t expect them to be. I bought them for spreading filler and scraping paint. They do a good job with the first, but are a little hit and miss at the second. They should be fine at taking wallpaper off walls with a steamer but I’m trying to remove paint off an old wardrobe with a heat gun. The blade seems a little too flexible and thin for my purpose as the scraper keeps getting stuck in the wood, but it works better on other surfaces. Indeed, I’ve had to revert back to my old fashioned chisel knife with wooden handle to really make progress. Still a useful addition to my toolbox as they are comfortable in the hand and flexible enough for other jobs.

I think I remember seeing bad reviews, yes. Yes, edges are too sharp and unfinished, but I have paid a lot more than this and had badly engineered planes, spokeshaves, chisels etc. Its hardy the end of the world, it only takes a few minutes with a sanding block and choice of sandpaper to smooth off the edges. No big deal. For £6. odd, its a good deal. What do you expect for this price? So quick and easy to smooth the edges to make them safer and good to use. So I would buy this set again. Multi purpose scraper spreader, it was the right width for my job spreading Tetrion before installing new skirting. I needed a blade just less than the height of skirting, plastering trowel was a bit too wide to fit below copper pipe, very happy. To those who complain of rust, clean your tools and slightly oil them after each use. Look after tools and they will last and be ready for next time.

I used these brushes to apply stripper to furniture. Did the job well, cleaning them was super easy and the bristles remained perfectly intact. Good value.

The picture looks alot sturdier than the actual items. If I was doing any serious paper stripping I would have looked elsewhere. Great as a temporary measure.

They're very lightweight which was exactly what I wanted as I will be using them for craft projects.
