Finally, I have a table cloth I like, to hide my table when guests are round! :)
I'm very happy with this table cloth. The 52" by 70" sits really well on my rectangle table which is 38" by 50" . There is just enough overhang for this size table and it looks pretty much the same as in the picture. It looks nice, feels nice and has a subtle sheen which I like. Also it stays in place! So far I've only used it twice and each time it has washed really well. It looks as though it will last a good while and I hope it does. Unlike a cotton table cloth which creases really badly, this one doesn't. I just pop it in the dryer and out it comes, ready to go or be folded. I found that I can dry it by itself, and it won't come out as a creased mess. After sitting in a cupboard and going to retrieve it, I found it still didn't need ironing. But I suppose you might want to if you're being a perfectionist, and also it depends how many other things you might have piled on top of it.

Cat resistant, liquid barrier as advertised.
I bought this 60 x102 oblong table cloth in black to protect my good dining room table from my cats, and to be a barrier to spills. Microfiber is not a fabric cats like to scratch at.This tablecloth was much better than I expected. It's bright and shiny (I bought the black one), but soft. It feels like a quality fabric, One of my cats peed on the table cloth and the urine did not penetrate the fabric at all. I was able to clean it up easily.I was disappointed that oblong did not mean oval. The shape is a rectangle. I can live with that, even though my table is oval.I will probably buy this tablecloth again in different colors. And after this experience I'm thinking that microfiber is probably a good way to go with funiture coverings.

Even Your Husband Cant Ruin This One!
I have been looking for a tablecloth to go with my "wine" motif in my dining room. So when I saw this tablecloth, it looked like it would be the perfect match. It is *slightly* lighter than the colour in the photo, but it still matches wonderfully! I have a hard time finding 60 x 102 size in stores, so I was thankful to find it in this size. The first night I had it on the table, my husband knocked over a bottle of hot sauce. It immediately bubbled up to the surface, and a gentle swipe with a cloth took it right up, Didn't even leave a stain. We were getting ready for a party at our home, so the real test came....washing it. I washed it in cool water cycle to be safe. It came out great. No shift in colour, and drying it in the dryer did not shrink it at all. It came out practically wrinkle free!Huge fan. I look forward to purchasing a few more as back ups! Great Price!

Reliable Appealing Tablecloth
Nice subtle coloring with the variation in light and dark. It's not a checkered table cloth but probably inspired by that idea, but this design is kinda sorta elegant for its purpose. The claim about water beading on the surface is mostly true, you will see beads approximately 1 inch in diameter or maybe a little more from simple spills. But i also keep a plastic 2-gallon Brita water system with a spout on the table over this tablecloth. If I forget to sponge off the beads, it does soak through a little - otherwise the beads of water lift right off with a sponge. The table i'm using this for is a hard-plastic fold-out table that we use as an extra kitchen surface for bowls of fruit, coffee filters, etc. The combination of that table, which would not look very good without some kind of covering, and this tablecloth, works quite well. The material is a good balance of firm and soft. It seems a little staticky but only when folding. It stays nicely in place on the table - rarely have to straighten it out at all.Well enough that i bought a second one exactly the same but in a different color, so i can wash each one in rotation every couple of months or so. Dust or food particles will build up on them a little, and laundering on a low setting in cold water and then drying on a delicate setting seems like it will keep the microfiber polyester intact. This could also work well as a dining room tablecloth for lunches or light suppers though perhaps not for special occasion or dress up dinner.

Need to return, but...
I was disappointed in the table cloth that I got. There were several snags on the underside of the fabric and I'm afraid if I wash it, it will fray. It was very difficult to find an oval tablecloth, so I was excited to find this. It had the usual wrinkles from being folded in the package,, but I threw it in the dryer with a load of towels and the moisture from the towels took out all the wrinkles and it looked beautiful and did not require any ironing. But when I inspected it closer I noticed several snags on the underside of one end of the tablecloth. If it wasn't for that I think it would have been quite lovely and functional. I'm going to have to return it though. Am disappointed because I'm having an open house in 2 days for my mother's 80th birthday and I don't think an exchange would arrive in time. I wish I would have opened it 2 days ago when it arrived so that I would have noted the issue and have had time to exchange. I'm quite certain by looking at the other half of the tablecloth that it might have been flaws in the fabric and that perhaps it's just a defective one. (I don't want to make this a total negative review as things like this happen in production and it's not necessarily a reflection on the overall product line...I just got a lemon....but if I had time to receive the exchange I think I would have).
