A little pricey, but an excellent value!
I just started the ocarina a few months ago. But I really enjoy it! I practice about 15-20 minutes a day and I'm learning a lot.This is a beautiful instrument with a fine balance in the hand. The breath control lends to the softer side. And there is no need for additional power for the higher notes. Also, all of the notes are very clear and sharp with no weakness or airy sound on either end of the two octave range.My only issue is that, although the finish is beautiful, it is just a tad slippery. But this is not enough for me to deduct a star from what is an exceptional product and a fine value. I'm not disappointed at all and I'm sure any future buyers will be satisfied with their purchase.

Love it, but you better have air control.
I love it! The only reason I put 4 rather than 5 stars is that you must have good breath control and a good ear, like any air driven instrument the amount put in affects the pitch. Just make sure you're not buying this to blow hard, it's sensitive to too much force, best for a soft flow. All the notes are in key, as long as you use the correct air pressure.

Okay Ocarina
The regular chamber sounds really good, but the high pitch one sounds a little off. And it's missing one note using the regular chamber as there is only one hole at the bottom that is using thumb to cover/open. So I returned it, and it doesn't cover the returning fee but I had to spend $13 to ship it back.

The smell and everything else I like but for me I have a hard time with the holes in the third chamber

Great instrument and fast shipping!
The ocarina arrived very fast, 5 days sooner than the quoted delivery date and the instrument is well crafted and the sound is incredible. My husband is in love with his new ocarina.

Fun to play, but cramped tone hole
I really like this ocarina and it is definitely new to me. My only problem is the tone hole at the second chamber. Why is it there? It makes it hard to cover the “B” hole on the second chamber; the tone hole makes it so that your pinky is cramped because how how close it is to the first hole of the second chamber. Other than that, it is certainly a fun ocarina to play.
