Excellent Air Scrubber – Powerful, Reliable, and Outstanding Support!
Excellent Air Scrubber – Powerful, Reliable, and Outstanding Support! I purchased the MOUNTO HEPA500 to use during home renovation work, and it has exceeded my expectations. The air quality improvement was noticeable within hours, and it does a great job keeping dust and debris under control. It’s powerful, sturdy, and surprisingly not that loud for the amount of air it moves. The filters are easy to replace, and setup was quick and straightforward. I also want to mention how impressive the customer service was. I called the company with a few questions before using it, and they were incredibly helpful — they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and fully understood how to use the unit properly. This machine is solid, dependable, and well worth the investment. Highly recommend both the product and the company behind it.

Solid investment for controlling air quality
The Mounto 500AF Air Scrubber is solidly built and does a great job filtering air at our residence. It's very well built, solid, with nice features like a digital timer that clocks hours of use, plug to seal off filter when not in use, two additional protected outlets for daisy chaining units, and variable speed. The design is well thought out—it's easy to change filters, the long cord wraps around unit for transport/storage, the handle and case are battle-proof. It moves a lot of air and the cleaning power is evident on the outermost filter that is caked in dust from just 150 hours of use. We use ours with three-stage filtration: a pre-filter that catches larger particles like dust, a carbon filter that helps control odors/VOCs like kitchen odors and off-gasses, and a HEPA filter for catching small asbestos particles when doing home improvement projects. It provides some piece of mind that we're reducing environmental hazards from daily living. The only cons are it is fairly loud and heavy, but that come with the territory of having a large high-capacity fan with many filters. I recently had some questions about the changing of filters and was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly and completely my questions were answered by Mounto. It's a great product and backed by solid support. We love our green machine!

Powerful and Reliable - A Must-Have for Construction Projects
I purchased two of these air scrubbers to use during construction, and they’ve been a game-changer. They do an excellent job of removing dust and keeping the air clean, which makes the space feel safer and more comfortable to work in. Setup was quick and straightforward, and both units ran smoothly without any issues. The build quality feels solid, and the filters are easy to replace. I’m really glad I invested in two, having them running together made a noticeable difference. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with renovation or construction dust.

Love this! We ripped out floor tile out of house and it is amazing how it sucked the tile dust out of the air. When it filter thru the machine it was clear.. The air in the house is clear now.

Some Issues Early On, but Manufacturer Resolved Them!
Purchased three of these units, and one quit working within the first month of use. There was a bit of a difficult and unsatisfying experience trying to contact customer service, and once we figured out a good way to contact customer service we were ghosted. However, after a couple more attempts we did reach someone who responded, identified a likely cause of the machine's failure, and said they'd ship a replacement part. That part was never shipped, but after a couple weeks and right before we were going to reach back out, another person at the company proactively reached out, indicated the ball had been dropped on shipping the replacement part, and said they'd step in and take care of it. The part then came quickly, I self-installed it pretty easily and quickly, and the machine is back up and running! A bit of a clunky ordeal to get there, but I'm going to give the company another chance when I need another new machine!

Great product will buy again!
We’ve been using this dehumidifier on several water damage restoration jobs, and it hasn’t let us down. Powerful performance, fast moisture removal, and holds up well under daily use. The built-in pump is a great feature — saves time on every job. Definitely a solid piece of equipment for any pro.

Solid, Well-Engineered Workhorse
PROS Well-made, variable speed blower, easy clean exterior. Accessory plug provides power to additional tools. SUGGESTIONS Air leakage around the first-stage filter lets a lot of dust into the HEPA filter area. You can get more life from your HEPA filter by building a pre-filter extension. I connect a 12" flexible duct, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0845MSK5W?th=1, to the inlet side of the air cleaner. At the other end I built a frame that has a 12" round take off on the back side. I connect the flex duct to the back side. On the front side, I used 1" aluminum angle to make a slide-in frame to hold a 16 x 16 (400 x 400) air filter. I cut the containment area plastic and spray tack it to the sides of the front. The 16 x 16 furnace filter knocks down most of the dust before it gets to the air cleaner unit. They are quick to change by sliding it out of the frame. NEXT STEP My next step will be to add an 8" flex duct to the exhaust side of the air cleaner. Typically, I would build a frame that fits in a window and exhaust the air outside. This creates negative air pressure inside your plastic containment area. The negative air pressure keeps dust from leaking out as air has to flow to balance the pressure. INNOVATION SUGGESTIONS FOR MOUNTO 1. Add a gasket around the first-stage filter to force all the air flow through the filter. 2. Offer an "add-on kit" that includes the frame and 12" duct. Make it the same square dimension as the blower with a handle on top. Include storage for 12" and 8" duct as well as the duct.
