DW DWCP3500T Hi Hat 2-Leg Cymbal Stand

So Im signed through an agency and gig almost every weekend, but it’s still a second income for me and with constant moving of equipment I just didn’t want to shell out more than a couple hundred on a new stand. I’m very familiar with two leg hat stands as my last Pearl was with me for 7 years. Figured I’d test drive a DW at the 3500 level first and this thing is full of features for the price. Seems like the biggest complaint is the stability, but if you know how to configure the stand (check some videos on it), it truly doesn’t wiggle or walk away from you even when keeping time. So far I’ve played on various thicknesses of stage carpeting and if you adjust your spikes accordingly this baby is solid. Of course a smooth surface will cause problems but that’s what drum mats are for. Would highly recommend this to anyone that wants quality but also doesn’t mind it getting beat up on the road if you gig often.

The stand they sent is great except the cluch is cheap!!! It is not what is in the picture!!! In the picture it has a different bottom plate!!! Different heel , different thick chain!!! And a plastic hi hat clutch!!! But it is possible they don't make the stand that is in the picture any more!!! Except the cluch I don't like !!! only the design changed on the stand!!! Just as strong and durable!!! It's still DW!!! And stands up to there Name!!! How ever!!! The number on the stand they advertised as a CP 3500T!!! What i got was a CP 3500TA!!! Big differnce!!! And the CP 3500A is the 3 legged version of the CP 3500TA!!! I got the cheaper stand!!! It will out last me in a life time!!! Careful because they might not make the CP 3500T anymore!!! Im just a little bummed!!!!!!! Happy Drumming

I truly love DW hardware. I typically have had the 5000 series for the last 20 years but decided to grab this little guy to help cut down the weight. I’m not disappointed, performs as expected and would recommend it to all my friends.

The hi-hat stand was easy to put together, and the instructions were easy to follow. The quality of the components are really good, especially if upgrading from hi-hat stands 100 dollars or less. I did have a bolt that was bent for me. The one that is used to keep the pedal in place, but I just bent it back. It's fairly easy to pair this with a double bass pedal given there are only 2 legs, and I have been comfortably using it for a while. I highly recommend this hi-hat stand.

What a great hi hat stand! It's heavy duty and has great balance for a 2-leg stand which I have never used. The only thing I was not satisfied with is the fact that it came with no manual. I have 2 screws and a plastic bracket left over that I'm not sure what to do with.

Disclaimer: I ordered this used from the Amazon warehouse and it arrived with the floor plate bent beyond use. I used to mallet and some pliers to bend it back into usable condition.Ive been playing drums for a few months now, recently picked it up and ive quickly outgrown my beginners kit, and have decided to go the piecing stuff together route to upgrade. I ordered this because I just got a DW 3000 series double pedal and my original hi hat stand legs don't swivel, so I needed a new one to fix my ghetto setup. For the money, this a QUALITY. I didnt know how terrible my stand was until I got this one. Everything is adjustable, it's got a clip to save your height setting if you have to break it down and move around, the clutch has an extra screw to make sure the bottom nut won't come off, and it's fantastically quiet. Glad to add this to my setup

great value for the money. i love DW merch and there was no disappointment with thisonce you lock it down (any way you put it) this thing is solid i read reviews where people were saying it wouldnt be i knew better and purchased anyway and i am content with this hi hat stand

Stable, works well next to double bass drum pedal. Smooth motion. Stable for two leg cymbal stand

It folds up fairly small, it's sturdy and well made. The pedal and third leg design works very well. It wasn't cheap but it's not cheaply made.

Arrivato in tempi più che ragionevoli.Buono l'imballo.E' un Hi-Hat stand buono, non professionale ma nemmeno entry-level.Molto stabile e con regolazioni di meccanica robusta, bello pesante e solido..L'ho installato su una batteria con doppio pedale per la cassa, ideale perché con le sole due gambe posteriori non interferisce con il secondo pedale. Lo aspettavo da tempo. Sono pienamente soddisfatto.
