In the product photograph, the pages of the books are painted white...so they actually look like pages in a book. With the actual earrings, all sides of each book are painted the same color so that they look much more like just slabs of color stacked atop each other. There was only one earring backing (those plastic things to prevent the earring from inadvertently sliding out of your ear) in the package instead of two. And the earrings are rather heavy. They were cheap enough that I did not bother returning them, but really I would not recommend them.

Extremely disappointed in these. I was very excited for the bright colored books but these look like they were made with 0 interest on what they looked like. They are also extremely heavy material. Would not recommend.

While I love the stack of books (which hardly anyone recognized), these weigh a ton on my ears. Not sure I would have bought them if I'd known how heavy they were. Also too bad there weren't book titles on the spines of the books to make them more recognizable as books.

Like others said, these weren't given much thought or attention when made. They are solid metal (heavy), and whoever painted it seems like they were in a rush to just paint as many as possible. The paint is messy and clearly missing in a lot of places. These are not worth spending money on. The pictures advertised must be completely different earrings.

I wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing these. They are way too heavy and don't even really look like the cute little mini-books I thought they'd be. I will be returning these for sure!

These look absolutely nothing like a stack of books. They are not polymer clay as described, they are metal. They are heavy and the paint is chipping off in the bag they came in. I threw them out without ever wearing them they were so disappointing. Don’t waste your money.

These pull my earlobes down! They are very heavy!

These are kind of cute (although nothing much like the pic color wise) but they are VERY heavy and I won't wear them - they pully earlobes down and hurt
