Large, can carry lots. I attached this to my hiking gear and can carry my .44 in bear country and access it pretty fast. . I live in NY and you must carry concealed which is a problem with larger pistols.

Using it a range bag. Plenty of magazine pouches-holds six AR mags. Two end pockets for tools, earplugs, etc. Main pocket large enough for a 200 round count of 5.56 ammo and a couple of ear defenders.

I bought this bag several years ago from Midway to use for Steel Challenge matches. I find it ideal for both rifle and pistol matches. it would certainly have 5 stars but for two issues. First, it needs a handle. It is awkward to pick up and carry without putting it on your shoulder. Second my bag ripped out near the shoulder strap. I have been using it that way for 2 years because I cant fix it with my non existent sewing skills. In spite of this I am buying another one as I can't find anything else I like as well. I will try to install a handle to make it perfect.

Good bag for the price. Looks like it will hold up good.
