I'm currently living in the Caribbean (Dom Rep) and as you know temperature here are in the 90's F / 30-34 C.Its freaking hot and humid!!!With Covid-19 lock down we have to stay most of the time inside the house and this shorts are the perfect tool to feel comfortable and fresh. PLEASE REMEMBER TO USE A MASK when going out.Im 5'11 and 180 Lbs and bought 34' Size they fit great and would say they are very giftable.Only bought the Khaki color and Dark gray, I wish Columbia would have other color options as well.

These shorts are OK for hiking or fishing. Their strongest features include light weight and fast drying time. However, they share some problems with nearly all Columbia shorts, such as lack of odd sizes (if your waist is 31, 33 or 35, you are out of luck) and front pockets made of mesh (everything gets stuck there, particularly your house or car keys). Besides, the cargo pocket is too shallow, it cannot even hold a larger cell phone. Other Columbia shorts have much bigger side pockets. I also found that other Columbia shorts, such as Silver Ridge, fit much better. Overall, not the best shorts from Columbia.
