Bluetooth 12V Car Boat Spa Stereo Receiver Adapter Converter Receiver Dongle

Arrived DOA, this unit looks and feels homemade. The black plastic container containing the tiny homemade circuit board fell open in the packaging. Everything looked contained and undamaged, even the solder points look good. You can see the add on attached factory made chip which contained the bluetooth capability, a very different looking board that the one created to supply it 12volt power. Honestly I do not believe this little device would have lasted more than a week if it did fire up for me. I was adding it to a boat stereo that runs on salt water. The Salt Moist air around a boat would certainly kill this circuit post haste, if you want to market this device to a Hot tub/Spa, boat, or car you might consider water proofing the plastic shell, at least finding a way to secure it closed with a dab of silicone.What should I expected from a brand name "Audio Baxics" if the engineer who created this is unable to properly formulate english words, we may have an issue with them creating circuit boards.

Bought 2 at separate times. Neither lasted 6 months before stopping to work. Bought a higher rated one for a few bucks more and it was physically double the size and heavier and connected quicker.

It would be a 5 star rating if there wasn't a slight bit if electrical hum in it due to the cabling not being shielded. But it's a great way to blue tooth and older stereo system. It's super easy to use and install. Four out of five stars.

No Instructions not even a hint on how to pair. What a waste of time and money!

There were two problems with this unit, 1. The unit would not transmit telephone calls and 2. The unit transmits alternator whine.

The device connects reliably and worked for a while. But after a few months it developed a terrible wine whenever a device was connected. Didn’t matter what the device was.

Works as expected. Better bluetooth range and clarity than nearly all of my other bluetooth devices. Configuration and connection was a snap. Low power draw.For what it's worth, these actually have a small amplifier built in so they can handle bluetooth-received volume changes. They can power a set of tiny speakers on their own without an amp.
