Delicious!
While I don't have celiac disease, I do have a gluten intolerance, and my body lets me know when I have eaten gluten. Disappointed at the lack of options for my sweet tooth that is gluten-free, I stumbled upon BelliWelli. These are amazing and hard to eat just one - I have eaten two in one sitting. Shhhh. This is my third box - I purchased an assortment and a case of cinnamon directly from their website. I saw they were having a huge sale through Amazon for Black Friday and purchased one. Healthy ingredients, some being organic, no HFCS, and probiotics added. The texture and flavors may not be for everyone. I prefer cinnamon and blueberry the best. The lemon white chocolate is all right, only because I've never liked lemon in anything. But, I still eat it, which is unusual since I don't like lemon at all. If you want an alternative to brownies/pastries that are loaded with HFCS, artificial ingredients, etc I would strongly encourage you to try these.

A Tasty, healthy snack for the food sensitive!
Let me start this review by saying that I consider myself to be extremely fussy when it comes to food in general and to snacks in particular. I have various food sensitivities and medical issues (like reflux) that consistently make it difficult for me to find snacks that are gut-friendly AND delicious. (including dairy, fake sugar, and certain types of fats). Happy to report here that these BelliWelli bars check all the boxes, and I'm hooked! I have tried this sampler pack, in addition to the Strawberry Shortcake flavor, and all are fantastic. Top 3 would have to be Birthday Cake, Blueberry Muffin, and Cinnamon Roll - with each flavor tasting exactly as described. Texturally, these almost have the consistency of a fig newton, only not as crumbly. These are moist, flavorful, and provide just the right amount of sweetness and flavor that can satisfy me plenty, given the bar's small size. These are dense and chewy, in the best way possible - and my favorite aspect of these are the chips and flavor bits distributed throughout. I love that these are individually wrapped too - making them perfectly portable. If I had one critique - I wish they'd make a slightly larger bar as a meal replacement, with a bit more protein too. Keep these coming, BelliWell - you've got a customer in me for life!

What I like most is their convenience
Would I buy this again? Yes. Will I reccommend it to friends? Yes. Will I eat it every day? No. Is it the best thing I ever had? No. Did it bother my IBS and GI issues? No. Did I like all of the flavors in this box? No. Flavor: I'm a somewhat picky eater and I liked about half of the flavors in this box. In the winter I lose my sense of taste, hence the pickiness, but these were still pretty good even in winter for me. They were kind of dry, which was a bummer, I think these would be most fantastic when moist. I put a few in the fridge and enjoyed that as well - if you're someone who likes chilled or frozen candy bars, give that a shot. I haven't tried it, but microwaving the bars might also improve the texture. IBS: These did not cause a flare. I did get more stomach rumbling than I expected, but nothing happened otherwise. That's already a 100% improvement on traditional nutrition bars. They seemed to digest "as normal" for me. Value: Not gonna lie, these are expensive for me. Not unusual for a nutrition bar though. I'm going to stick to using these as an on-the-go and emergency snack. I think they'll be great for events and places where I can't predict how the food will affect me. I wanted to eat these every day for breakfast, but the dry texture and the expense don't make that worth it for me. Packaging: I wish the brownie bars were offered in this box too because those sounded the most like I would like them. I suppose they make more money selling the brownie only in a separate box. The box is a store display box which is somewhat funny, but works fine to hold the bars in my pantry. The bars are wrapped in stiff mylar plastic, so they survived the changes in temperature and getting crushed in my day bag well. The paper box is recyclable in most areas, the bar plastic wrapper is not. ♻️ Story: Nutrition bars (most any food bar) are all off the table for me because the additives for the nutrition and preservation all trigger my IBS like crazy, so I was very intrigued to see these. Food bars would help me get nutrition quick when I lose it so frequently due to the GI issues, but I can't have any. This was worth a try for me. They shipped quickly and intact. The box works as a dispenser for the bars in my pantry, since it's a store display box. I tried some for breakfast for a few days with no IBS flares, although some audible belly gas, especially at first. No gas passed, however, and no gas pain, two of my frequent flare issues. So that was a good experience. I liked half of the bar flavors enough to want to eat them regularly and found the texture to be lacking - kind of dry, which is a bummer for breakfast, when I wake up with a dry mouth and throat already. I tried freezing/chilling a few which made the texture less bothersome and will try microwaving next. They are somewhat moist, to be clear, just definitely not the moistness of a fresh muffin or anything. What I like most is their convenience. Nutrition on the go without irritating my body, which isn't something I previously had. These won't be daily for me, just busy days or during unusual schedules. I think they'll also be lifesavers during events involving food that I don't know will bother me. 4 out of 5 stars, one star off for liking half the flavors, lack of brownie in this variety pack, and expense. I'll buy them again!

Taste is alright but is low FODMAP
These did not upset my stomach in anyway so the low FODMAP claims are legitimate. The flavors are alright but nothing exciting. The difference in flavor between each bar is minimal. The bars have a dry crumbley texture and the chips are the only part that give them any bit of creaminess. The cakey bar part kinda tastes like a protein bar, with a hint of a strange aftertaste. Not bad, just noticeable. For the cost I'd expect these to taste much better. I wouldn't buy them for everyday eating because they are too expensive for what they are and the taste isn't good enough. But I took them on a road trip recently so I had a snack I could trust to eat on the road and they filled that need. I'd buy them again for a trip.

A little pricey, but we’ll worth it!
I’ve been wanting to try these for a while and was able to grab a variety pack when Amazon did a flash sale. They were a bit different than I thought they would be, in the picture it looks like they’re going to be a bit more moist, but they’re on the drier side but still chewy. That being said, they are delicious. I had to put in some self control and only have one a day (Icould easily eat the whole box in one go!), because they are a bit pricey. I’ve had them for breakfast, as an afternoon treat with tea, dessert, and late night snack. Works well anytime of the day!! I think my favorite is birthday cake, but all flavors taste great. My tummy has been extremely happy. I react to everything these days, but these actually works wonders. They’ve even helped minimize my bloating and discomfort. As mentioned before, they are on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it!!

Bars taste great and are good for the tummy!
These BelliWelli bars are super tasty! The texture was softer and easier to chew than your typical nutrition/snack bar. All flavors had their own perk to them but if I had to pick a favorite it'd be Birthday Cake, they have little chips in the bar that give it a great flavor and they make the bar look fun to eat! My fiancee really liked the Blueberry flavor and the Lemon White Chocolate bars! He took one to work and people took notice of the metallic colorful packages they come in and asked what it was! I think these bars are very versatile and make for great breakfast and lunch substitutes or add ons when you crave something sweet yet don't want to reach for a empty calorie filled candy bar! I'm going to tell everyone I know about these wonderful bars that are full of nutrition and low in ingredients that we don't need! They also have helped immensely with my sensitive stomach, no more bathroom problems here! :)

Dry, Hard, Aftertaste
I’m not only doing the FODMAP diet but I also have to be gluten free. Gluten free baking is definitely a challenge, especially when you can’t rely on almond or coconut flour (high FODMAPs) Results can easily be dry or too gooey and lacking flavor. I was hoping these would be better and take the hassle out of the delicate science of the flours BUT…they failed to impress me. First, they’re extremely dry and crumbly, not a moist cakey bar at all. Second, they’re very small for the price. There’s only 8 bars in a pack for $25 which is over $3 per bar. I’ve got small hands and the bar barely fills my palm. And third, they don’t taste that good. I got the variety pack with all four flavors. The fudge doesn’t taste like chocolate at all. The cinnamon swirl has very little cinnamon flavor and the chocolate mint has a weird aftertaste. The lemon chocolate is the only one that is somewhat tasty but also has that aftertaste. I don’t know where the aftertaste is coming from because there’s no artificial sweeteners in them. As far as ingredients, they’re FODMAP friendly and none of them caused me any stomach upset so that’s a true claim. They also have added probiotics. So if you need your probiotics, they’re in there. I take my own special blend of probiotic so I really didn’t need them. For me, I was looking for an alternative to baking from scratch myself, to take some of the workload off of me. But honestly I can make a better tasting and better texture gluten free bar myself and much cheaper. If you do your homework and a little test kitchen with your recipe, you can figure out GF baking too! I would recommend these if you have no desire to learn GF baking or you’re a really terrible baker. But if you’ve got some patience and a little skill, you can do better. I wasn’t wowed by these and I won’t be buying them again.

Does the job, pricey but a good occasional treat.
I have only tried 2 flavors so far. Overall, I can see the appeal of these. They taste decent, though the two flavors I had (blueberry and birthday cake) weren't very differentiable. They feel filling, and reading the ingredients, I am a bit wary of the sorghum flour, though I can say I have not had any GI issues from eating them which is what is most important to me. I am also bothered by the price, which I understand is partially that way due to the research and testing that probably had to go into making something decent but also filling and sweet that met all the limitations it caters to. However, I'd prefer it still be a bit cheaper with lower cost packaging. All in all, I'd say, this is a great on-the-go option for people who have a lot of restrictions, though definitely not something you can be consuming everyday if you're on a budget. Flavor wise, i want to taste all the flavors from the box before having a final verdict but so far I'd say it's fine, not great but not bad either. Definitely great for the exchange of peace of mind.
