I’ve bought this five times now, which probably says everything. This has been one of the better styling products I’ve found for getting a strong hold without making my hair look shiny, greasy, or overly stiff.The texture is really nice once you warm it up in your hands, and it works through the hair pretty easily. It gives a good amount of control and structure, but still leaves a natural-looking matte finish. I like that I can style my hair and have it stay put without looking like I used a ton of product.It also doesn’t feel heavy, which is a big plus. Some high-hold products can make fine hair look flat or dirty by the end of the day, but this one has been much better for me. A little goes a long way, so the container lasts longer than you’d expect.Overall, this is a solid everyday styling clay. Strong hold, matte finish, easy to work with, and reliable enough that I’ve kept coming back to it.

Excellent - great product. If I could give this ten stars, I would. First, there’s no smell. Which is awesome. As a grown man I don’t want my head to smell and breathe that scent in all day. If I want to smell a certain way, I’ll use cologne or after shave. Secondly, this product scores the highest on Yuka of everything comparable I’ve tried, by far. So it’s nice knowing I’m not going to pick up some rare cancer because I’ve been putting something in my hair to style it. Third, this product holds all day, but if you know how to use it, it isn’t a crusty or gross wet hold. If you get hit with a strong rain, wind, snow, etc. - you can easily restyle it and it goes on providing a good hold. I carry a small comb for my hair and beard. Third, it’s easy to wash out in the shower/bath. Nothing crazy like some products. Lastly, for all the bad reviews I’m pretty sure they have no idea how to properly use this product because once you figure it out, you’ll never go back to the competition. Personally, I usually towel dry and then apply a dime size throughout my somewhat wet hair. Then I blow dry, combing my hair forward while blowing back. This creates volume. Once dry, I get dressed, then apply a bit more, another dime size, I run this through my hair after emulsifying in my hands. I even use this on my mustache and it holds better than any beard balm/wax I’ve ever used and isn’t annoying as some of those products. Then I style with a comb or my fingers - usually some of both. And you’re good. I ride a mountain bike, go to the gym, work, on a date, whatever.The only reason I’m taking the time to write this long review is because this is truly a wonderful product. These types of products are rare and I want to give credit where credit is due.Excellent, buy it. Learn how to use it work your hair and hairstyle, and thank me later. 👊🏽

Best clay I’ve ever tried. I know 30$ plus shipping is a bit steep but it lasted so much longer than any of my other clays. It actually ended up saving me money. The clay makes you hair very controllable and has a true matte finish. It’s a bit of a stiffer clay to apply but definitely worth it. 12/10 would DEFINITELY recommend

I actually really liked this product overall. The hold is seriously strong, and it gives that clean matte look without making my hair look greasy or shiny. It’s one of those products where you really only need a small amount, because if you use too much it can get heavy pretty fast.The texture is thick, so I definitely recommend warming it up in your hands first before putting it in your hair. Once it’s in, it does a really good job keeping everything in place while still looking natural. It’s not like gel where your hair gets crunchy, which I really like.Another thing I liked is that there really isn’t a strong fragrance smell. Some hair products have that overpowering cologne-type scent, but this one is pretty neutral, which I prefer.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it did seem to give me a little acne, probably because it’s a stronger/heavier styling product. If I’m careful not to use too much and wash it out well, it’s better, but it’s still something to keep in mind if you’re acne-prone or if your hair touches your forehead.Overall, I’d still recommend it if you want a strong hold and a true matte finish. It works really well, but I’d just be careful with the amount you use.

I always come back to claymation. I love buying hair products to try them out, but claymation has always been the one I come back to because it gets the job done. Volume, texture, hold, it’s got it all! Use a pea size Amount at a time and just make sure to fully emulsify in your hands before applying

This stuff is terrible. It reminded me of plaster that’s about to dry—rock solid at first, then when you finally try to warm it up in your hands, it just gets stickier and gummier. I couldn’t even spread it properly in my palms, let alone get it into my hair. And when I did attempt to apply it, it literally yanked a few hairs out. Definitely not the strong hold I was expecting, either.And don’t even get me started on washing it off. I had to scrub my hands 4 or 5 times with hot water, soap, and even body wash. It was greasy, oily, and water just rolled right off. I ended up using an old towel just to get most of it off. I couldn’t wait to take a full shower just to feel clean again.Once I got it into my hair, it took forever to spread evenly. It didn’t warm up right, left patches, and felt heavy. Then, washing it out of my hair was a whole thing—I had to double shampoo just to get back to normal. For reference, I have medium-thick, mostly straight hair.I’ve tried a lot of hair products over the years, and I hate saying this, but this one was easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had. I’ve used other stuff from this brand that wasn’t bad at all, so I’m not trying to trash them completely. But this product just completely missed the mark.Maybe I got a bad jar, who knows—but I’m not taking that chance again.Bottom line: definitely not worth $25. I won’t be reordering.

Great hold, easy to wash out of hair and re-workable. Does last all day, and holds much better than other clays I've used. On functionality, it's excellent, even if a bit pricey.The issue for me is the scent, it's gag-inducingly revolting. I've genuinely never used a hair product that smells so bad; products a third of the price that smell so much nicer.I reordered twice, but in the end, I just can't get past the smell. Won't be reordering again.

Lasted the entire day and gave me the exact results I wanted from it. Smells not great but not bad either. Bottles a little small for 30$ as well but hey it’s a great product so I’m not really complaining. I haven’t used based hair clay But I have used their texture powder and the hanz gives me better hold and results.

Veramente di alto livello, tenuta eccellente e dura tutto il giorno. Non stressa capelli e cuoio capelluto. Non ha odore.Packaging molto buono.Costa molto più delle altre (non solo il prezzo in sè ma anche la quantità è ancora meno di altri prodotti) ma vale tutta la spesa.
