My kids love these bed canopies. They're actually big enough so they can close them up all the way and be inside it like a tent and they love it. I tried other ones from online but they were so small and you can't even close them but these are perfect and the fabric is so soft.One side note- I thought the rose brick color would be like a rusty color with red from what it looked like in the pictures, but it definitely has pink tones and so it did not work for a boys space like I thought, but the gray ones are super cute and not too dark. I am so happy with this purchase!! I was nervous because of the mixed reviews but all in all it was a great purchase!! We used a different wall hook than the one it came with because the one it came with ended up coming off the ceiling in the middle of the night (thank god the bed frame was there to stop it from landing on my daughter). It’s also a huge canopy which I was very pleased about!!

We've had this for a while now and it has held up quite well even though my kids are not always gentle with it. Seemed pretty easy for my husband to hang and it really adds a unique touch to the room. I bought the blue color and it is true to the photo. The fabric is soft and not sheer. I added string lights to hang down the side of the entrance and placed a bean bag type of seat inside. Love it.

We bought this for my daughter as a birthday present. Package came flat, no fancy wrapping, in black plastic with a small sticker slapped on it. No pictures or packaging detailing what she is going to get.. so when she opened the gift bag, she had no idea what the heck it was.Everything seemed fine when we put it up, it looked good and was very easy to install. She wanted one that was dark on the inside; the description says it blocks out light, so I thought that was perfect.. It does not. That should have been my first impression that it was poorly made.Six days after it was put up my daughter was sleeping and her leg got wrapped in the bottom while she was sleeping. She just turned six and is averaged sized, but her pulling her leg while she was sleeping was enough to rip the entire top off in four places. The way they designed the top, they did so with the least amount of care or cost.. They use thread that is no thicker than a strand of hair, plus is ONLY SINGLE STITCHED. It comes together like a pizza, if the pizza had only four slices.You know when you go buy a Halloween costume, how they only use enough stitching to get one night's use out of it? Then its falls apart.. That's exactly the way this is made, but we got a week.

Our daughters crib is in our bedroom, so we wanted something to keep it a little darker for her. This canopy is very big and totally goes around her crib. We can now turn on some lights while we’re getting ready for bed and don’t worry as much about disturbing her. While it’s not totally light blocking, it keeps it dark enough for her during naps or when we have a small lamp on. If she wakes up, she will often pull the canopy inside her crib. The hanging supplies it came with are holding up great, even though she pulls on it often.

I gave it all stars because everything it said it was it is my granddaughter's just love it and I love it it's so stylish at the same time it's not so thick and it's not so thin you can't see in which is what they wanted this more privacy but they can breathe and sleep in it just fine ever since I've gotten it for him they sleeping it would definitely buy again and can't beat the price

Update: This canopy just didn't hold up. First it ripped around the rim, I figured maybe she was too rough on it. I had her grandmother sew it. Then it ripped right off the ties not long after. At this point I'd say it's a lost cause. She's heartbroken because she loved it. I would not recommend this for children under...10? 12?I bought this for my 4.5 year old daughter's room makeover. She got her room painted purple, new bedding, and this awesome canopy. I'm super envious and wish this came for a king size bed. It looks so cozy.

The color and feel of the material are perfect. The material is a soft stretchy material. I purchased this for my son's room for his reading area. I planned on purchasing more of these for my daughters and niece. I figured my son would break the plastic hook that is provided with the canopy or rip it from the ceiling. I figured he would be my product tester. I was shocked that it ripped where the string ties to the top of the canopy. I am going to fix the stitching and add some elastic to the top where the strings attach to the canopy. He had sat on the bottom of the canopy and leaned backwards which caused it to break. He was not rough housing in the canopy when it broke. I am very disappointed. I am going to fix it because the material is beautiful and he just loves it. We purchased curtain fairy lights to go inside of the canopy and a rug and pillows to go inside of it. We put too much money into his reading area to turn back now. If you purchase this canopy I would add the extra stitching before you put up.
