- Stainless Steel Steam Wand for Rancilio Silvia (V1/V2) Espresso Machine with Single and Triple Hole Tip Nozzle

I have the Pannarello steam wand broken the 3rd times and decided not to buy the same anymore, though it's good to use but touched the hot steam everyday will shorten its life obviously. I believed this MacMaxe wand is originally for Rancilio Silvia but can be replaced the Pannarello easily as well, so a long way from the States to Taiwan, it's pretty worth the waiting. You'll need one each 12mm and 9mm wrench to detach and install the steam wand from Gaggia, and don't forget the rubber o-ring inside, the 9mm for installing the nozzle. 3 holes nozzle has a more average steam to compare with the traditional one hole, Voilà!

Perfect replacement for Gavin classic espresso machine looks close to factory, and the steam wand is the right height and finish. Bolt was the right size could be a little bit more polished, however. Look forward to making lattes with this well working @ long lasting wand. One thing cleaning could be easier but not hard. Makes no difference in taste just texture. A standard steam wand (like on newer Classic Pro or an upgraded wand like this) gives you direct control over air and steam, allowing finer microfoam and advanced milk texture, but it takes skill to use well.

Good set up except the nut that comes with it doesn’t fit my Gaggia classic. Just take the smaller fitting off the old steam tube. No big deal just more steps in the process

Used this steam wand to upgrade my Delonghi Stilosa. Made huge improvement compared to the original wand with only 1 steam port. Very easy upgrade to do and highly recommended

This seems like a really nice product but it did not seem to make nice microfoam with my Delonghi Stilosa. My espresso machine has limited steam pressure so I couldn't seem to get the three hole tip to work well but I think that tip will probably work better on a more expensive machine. The single hole tip just wanted to spit and introduce too big bubbles into the milk. It was moderately easy to install but I took it back off because I could get better foam with the rubber tip that came with the espresso machine. The rubber tip has a single hole as well so I don't really think that the failure of the new wand was a result of operater failure. It seems like a nice product but I concluded that it wasn't for me.

Perfectly fits the Delonghi Stilosa machine. Just need Pliers, a long philip head screwdriver and a 9.5 mm hose clamp to replace the internal clamp. The only difficult part is getting the new steam wand in through the ball joint, but once you get that in, it’s a cake walk. The pressure after installation is really great and the milk froth’s up way quicker then the stock steam wand.

Works on Gaggia Classic. Followed other comments to save the old nut to fit. Now it's perfect!

Includes all necessary parts. Was installed on my Delonghi Stilosa. Note that you may need to source a worm drive clamp as my stilosa had a single use clip on the stock steam wand.

Works much better than the original rubber wand with lots more steam! Have to relearn the position for the best micro foam but happy with it. The pain was installing the wand, I ended up widening the plastic holder so that I could get it on. Someone said its not easy to clean, try using vinegar. Cleans up excellent! Will see after months of use. So far pleased.

Could not install this as the mounting nut is smaller than what's on the machine. Design looks good, but the pipe diameter is a lot smaller than the original, so it would look funny. Great customer service though as the refund was processed immediately.
