This is undeniably the best face cream I’ve ever used in my 44 years on earth. I tried to love other, less expensive brands. I tried to love similarly priced brands sold at CVS where I could use a coupon. Ultimately though nothing even comes close. This cream changes everything about my skin within a few days of using it again. I’ve left and come back thrice now and I’ve surrendered to just sticking with it. My skin is flawless when I use this daily. Flawless. Every single other thing I’ve tried including La Mer my makeup doesn’t agree with it or my undereyes get dry as the day wears on or I look dull. This cream makes all those problems go away. I just wake up every day with perfect skin. I also use Versed cream cleanser and Rhode barrier butter along with the Ordinary retinol serum. Ultimately though, none of those other products did anything at all until I added this into the mix. Go for it. Use a jar. Try to not keep using it. Break up with it and come back again. Eventually you’ll surrender too. It’s just the very best thing available. Period.

It’s a scent I typically associate with rose water, but I guess in this case it might be lotus flower. Has several other botanicals, so I suppose it can be a combination of multiple things. If you don’t like scented skincare, you won’t like this. Texture is rich, viscosity almost solid, melting into your skin. A little goes a long way, so use less than you think you need. Ingredients also include multiple oils, so this is a nourishing formula, which I personally will only use at night. Presentation is luxurious and glass jar substantial.

The scent is a little stronger than I’m used to but smells nice. This blends in really well and you can feel softness immediately after use. It isn’t sticky and seems to be great quality. So far so good and I’m noticing some improvement with only a couple days use. I don’t have a tons of aging signs at just under 40. But love how my skin feels after applying this on. Packaging is great and very nice looking and it’s a heavy glass jar.

This renewal crème is beautiful packaged and comes in a glass jar. I always take a picture of the ingredients of a skin care product and run it through Decode INC which analyzes ingredients and gives you information on them. This product’s ingredients are top-notch! I really like the fact that it does not have retinol since retinol makes my face itch like I have poison oak. A little goes a long way and my skin feels very hydrated and not sticky. The only thing is the scent, which is nicel, is a little strong for me. I am scent sensitive and prefer either little to no scent. Understanding that they use lotus flower, I expected that scent, but the scent is actually derived from Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Oil and Rosa Damascena (Rose) Oil. Rose oil is known for its antioxidant and antimicrobial/antibacterial benefits, but geranium oil is just used for perfuming a lotion. If this did not have geranium oil, I would give it 5 stars.

Others have commented on the price, and each person needs to decide if a product is worth the cost. I really like this bakuchi based cream as I am a big fan of bakuchiol as a retinol alternative and I often use it at night on dry skin. This very moisturizing cream is heavy, so definitely a nighttime routine type of cream! It has a lovely scent, which so far has not interfered with my sleep or caused any issues for me. I still have the box it came in because it just feels too pretty to toss! I can see this making an exquisite gift if I wasn't keeping it for myself.
