The best laptop I've held or worked on in the last 5-6 years!
The laptop came in excellent package - the package itself spells the quality and care shown by the makers LG towards their product - unlike all those makers like ASUS or DELL, this one was premium. Everything was neat and clean. The pc is incredibly light - if you look at the photos you'll understand. It looks like a 13" laptop, though it's 15 inches! It's super fast, and the display is one of the best displays I've ever seen. If you're a sucker for great screens, go for this one. The battery life - though it's nowhere near the 18 hours touted by the makers, it does give more than 11 hours on a single charge, which is great. The charging didn't take much time, it's super quick. So it's okay, you get a whole day's work on a single charge, you don't need to lug the brick to work every day. Speaking about which, it's a bit of a letdown to say they could've made the charging brick smaller - it's the same old brick you see in old laptops. The keyboard is nimble and super responsive. I was a bit concerned if the keyboard would be the mini one without the numerical pad - I wanted a full size keyboard. Cuz the pics on the product page showed both kinds of keyboards. The arrow keys are also good, unlike the recent ones where they reduce the size of the up/down keys to half.I got it on a limited time deal - at 64k, which is great for this one. I've been tracking the prices for more than 3 weeks, and grabbed the deal. But later I saw a coupon added which reduced it to 58k for a time being, but I'm happy as 64k is good enough for me!PROs:1. Ultra, ultra light at 1.1 kgs - this is the biggest selling point.2. Premium laptop3. Excellent IPS display4. Long battery life5. 15 inch laptop looks like 13 incher6. Good, responsive keyboard.CONs:1. The charging brick could've been smaller.2. They could have also added MS Office Home and Student 2019 along with the package.3. The storage could've been hiked to 512GB SSD, probably upping the price by 2K. But you could always add an extra SSD. I'm using a micro SD card of 128 GB to increase my space.

Redefines thin and light
My spouse got one of these three years ago, and this year I got one for me and another for my dad. It's the best work laptop simply because of how light it is. Less than a kilo, and looks like it too. And it is a rugged beast as well - the better half's laptop has survived many a fall without complaints, safe a few minor dents. It's not the fastest computer out there by any stretch, but it handles pretty much anything 90 percent of users throw at it. My normal usage:-50 to 70 chrome tabs-10 odd Firefox tabs, including YouTube-5 odd edge tabs-10 to 25 word/excel/ppt files, open at the same timeI run these concurrently (with a vertical Taskbar, and even that becomes a bit of a mess). The laptop doesn't run hot with these and I can use it on my lap for extended periods without problems. Need to tweak Windows 10 with a couple of clicks for best performance rather than appearance, but I've done that on all pcs since decades, so YMMV there.I'm not a gamer anymore, but I've run SC2 (the free to play version) on it for a lark, and it's run pretty well with mid level settings. There is no fan, but I could feel the heat radiate out between the hinges after a few mins of play, but that didn't hamper a 4-5 hour (again, for a lark) gaming session at all.The backkit keyboard is excellent, and the track pad is decent. My wrists would've preferred rounded edges, but you can't have everything. The speakers in the current models are so much better and louder than in the 2017/18 version (still not movie worthy, carry headphones), and the in built Webcam is very usable for WFH meetings. Battery life, with all these programs running, is so good that I haven't thought about it.You'll get all off the above in cheaper books, but throw in the weight (or lack thereof), the form factor (the 14 inch looks and feels like a 13.3 pc, and the 15 incher like a 14 inch one) and the solid build quality, and this really is the cheapest thin and light notebook I've found.Drawbacks:-The current models come with a power brick that is huge and heavy. I had to get a smaller adapter for travel.-no touchscreen. Not a drawback for me, but could be for some.-the 15 inch model comes with a full keyboard with numpad included (like you find in all 15.6 laptops). With this form factor, a non-numpad keyboard would've been so sweet. They came out with newer models with newer processors and higher capacity ssd a couple of weeks after I got mine. But 256 gb is sufficient for me so far, and they claim adding ram + storage is a breeze, so save yourself the 12k, perhaps.

Lightweight; Powerful; Amazing
The item, as the name suggests, weighs under a kilo! I have books that weigh more than this laptop! So, coming to the laptop; The laptop, on the very first launch, was heating up. After that, it never heated up. I run it for my official work, and so far I haven't received any heating related issues.Performance:The laptop is blazzingly quick! One finger needed to open/lift the screen. And bam! You are all ready to go.The intel chipset is fast, the SSD is quick. No snags, lag has been observedAudio:The audio is a bit weak. But it really doesn't bother me. It is somewhat loud. Not superb, but okay-ish!Picture:WOW! nuff said.
