Kate Blue Photography Backdrops Abstract Photo Backdrop Poratrait Background for Photoshoot, 5x7ft

I just received this Kate backdrop and I’m already loving it! The color is rich and true to the photos, the material feels great, and the overall look is very professional. I haven’t had the chance to fully use it in a shoot yet, but I’m excited to see how it performs. So far, it feels like a high-quality product and a great addition to my photography setup. I’ll be sure to update my review after some long-term use!

High quality backdrops, they look great on camera and add a lot of depth to my self tapes. Every actor I know uses one of these. Great customer service.

This backdrop exceeded my expectations! I use professional Canon and Profoto equipment. I needed a red background to take publicity photos for a theater production of Sweeney Todd. I have recently been using the Westcott x-Drop Pro Stand, which is 8’x8’. I was hoping that it would fit, and it sure did! I used small clamps to attach it to the stands hooks. The backdrop color is muted, but responds beautifully when it is lit! In the picture below, I used a red gel to light the backdrop, which really made the color pop! The backdrop will allow backlight to go through it. But, when I am in that situation, I will hang it over my black background. The color it gives is worth it!

It’s made of good material, but the colors in the item description are not really the same as the colors when you hang the background cloth and then light it. I could barely notice the colors when shooting a video with it. It seemed to just meld into a lite to medium blue. Basically was expecting it to be more vibrant than it was!

This backdrop will always be my go to for professional headshot photography. The material is light weight enough for easy transport, but heavy enough for that professional feel. Wrinkles can easily be removed with a steam iron or by putting backdrop into the dryer with a wet rag for a few minutes. Easy to assemble as it’s cut at the top to go onto the backdrop stand pole. The gray contrast in color made for such nice photos!

The backdrop arrived with some serious wrinkles, but they ironed out for the most part. I had originally set it up on a stand in front of some windows and it was very difficult to see the color due to light passing through from the back. As you can see in my image, it appears washed out. Of course this has little effect on the final image if you're using a strobe, but it does make it difficult to see the actual color while you're composing/shooting. I resolved the situation by putting a black background behind it. Great value! and based on my experience with this, I have already ordered more Kate Backdrops.

I love this backdrop, Wrinkle free soft color, but wide it not what o want, 53 is to narrow 83 is too wide. Why nobody makes something in between.

The Dark Blue Abstract Backdrop has a nice color and texture, which works well for portraits and professional photoshoots. The microfiber material feels durable, and it’s relatively easy to clean and maintain. However, I was a bit disappointed with the creasing—it requires quite a bit of effort to get it completely smooth, even after ironing. Also, the actual color seems slightly lighter than what’s shown in the product images, which was not ideal for the look I was going for.

I wasn't expecting this backdrop to be so thick! It's perfect! Great quality, it has a spot at the top to put the bar through the top or it can be hung by hooks. The colour looks just like the picture; Great thickness, can't see through. If you're going to iron it, iron on the white side, or steam it to get out folding lines. The 5×7 is perfect for children and baby photography.

All Kate backdrops are good! As a photographer they are my go to.

Good quality and photographs nicely. A bit on the lighter shade in photos but still beautiful pictures.
