The Night Before the Snow Day

Who doesn't love a snow day? In my childhood in Nebraska, we had a bunch of them, and I sure loved them! I always felt sorry for the kids who never got a snow day. But this book can give people an idea of what those are like.

My students and I love to read this book when we know that there is a snow storm coming. Then we predict if we will have school or delay and then share ideas of what we can do on our snow day.

Just long enough to relax a 5 year old right before bedtime.

Love the rhymes. Very enjoyable to read to children of all ages. We have the whole collection and read them for the associated occasion.

Just what i was looking for

I bought this for a little girl who turned 5 in hopes she'd like it as all school kids like snow days!

My children are now 26, 20, and 17, but I remember reading some of Natasha Wing's stories to my youngest, and now I've started adding to my granddaughter's library. All children enjoy rhyming stories, and this one is especially great, because most children recognize the "night before Christmas" verse. I know she's going to love them!
