Very nice, functional helmet.
Very nice helmet for a reasonable price. The visor and internal shade are not treated against fog - at least not that I could see, but still a very good deal. The helmet is reasonably light and very functional; the flip-up face works just fine, no concern whatsoever. The tinted visor is controlled by a rotating button under the left ear that works fine, although I might change my opinion when I see how long it lasts (no reason to worry yet, except for my experience with other similar designs). My head is precisely 60cm around and I therefore procured the XL. This has a tag inside saying "61cm-62cm" and while the helmet holds well it is indeed slightly wide. I got a chance to try an L and it is too tight for me, so XL was the right choice. The chin strap is not a snap-on type but has two rectangular buckles - the opposite side features a small snap fastener that allows attaching it safely so that it does not flap around while riding. Not perfect (the snap fastener is plastic and might not last very long) and not easy to attach with gloves but very simple, reliable and functional. The tinted visor is grey, not brown (better if like me you are astigmatic), and not as dark as I wish it were. Not a deal breaker. The helmet features two vents in the front and two at the top of the forehead that work very well when at decent speeds and can be closed with two reasonably easy to find sliders.A remark about the inside padding.I live in the tropics and heat can be unforgiving when stuck in a traffic jam in full sun, so I have to clean the padding from time to time. There are three separate chunks of padding that can be dismantled for cleaning: one under each ear plus the scalp. The two under the ears are attached with two snap fasteners at the front and a hard plastic card that inserts between the expanded polystyrene that forms the cushioning and the outer shell. You want to remove them first, by popping the snap fasteners out and then gently pulling the card out - each is locked in place by two pieces of Velcro (each). The scalp-covering padding is attached with two snap fasteners at the back of the head, and a molded plastic stripe at the front with both tabs that insert in the outer shell and small plastic snap fasteners. It can be a little delicate to remove and I did break half a snap fastener but the geometry is very well designed and after it's been put back in place it holds just as expected.I clean these with just a little, gentle soap, hand washed and carefully rinsed, then spun in a bag in the washing machine set on "delicates".Putting it back together is the same in reverse. One trick: the Velcro holding the side padding gets in the way of inserting the card all the way tot he right position. To ease the operation, just insert some card (key card, business card) between the polystyrene and the Velcro taped to the outer shell first, then insert the padding and place it properly, and then remove the card, allowing for the matching Velcro to attach.

Love the helmet for the price
The helmet is light and snug fit, which I like, I measure 23.25 and got the XL, anyone measuring larger may need to go up a size because I think it would be a little tight. The operation of the modular lift face works fine, lifting of the clear visor shield is tight or somewhat choppy and needs to be broken in, maybe it will get smoother with time and getting used to moving it up and down, the field of view is excellent and the visor is clear to invisible, sometimes I think its up when its actually down. The button operation of the sun visor works great, however the vision through it is blurry and does not nearly come close to the clarity of the clear visor. My other 2 helmets did not have this feature so I always wear aviators when needed anyway. If anyone is buying this helmet because of the sun visor feature forget it, you will be disappointed, the vision is blurry. As far as aerodynamics, the wind drag is minimal to none and the helmet does not shift around or push my head at all; however the roar of wind does get louder at higher speeds(which I don't seem to mind). As far as impact resistance, its DOT approved, but I don't plan on ever having to test that.In summary:Positives - Helmet is DOT approved, decent price to quality ratio, lightweight, good fit for my size, excellent field of view and aerodynamics, I also like the TRON graphics which I have gotten compliments on.Negatives - The sun shield vision is distorted, clear visor operation is clunky, and the sound level of the wind can be loud at higher speeds 60+.Overall: For the price I would buy it again, I was very very impressed with my 1st and 2nd outing and I am happy with my purchase, the negatives are not deal breakers for me which is why I'm still rating it a 5.

Awesome, but noisy
Love it! I'll try to keep this short and to the point:1. Nice, modular helmet. Shade works, even with prescription glasses.2. Sizing. I usually buy a Large, but as reviews have warned, you should buy a size larger. I did get an XL, and it fits a bit snug.3. Accessorizing. I transferred my Sena Bluetooth to this helmet from my decades-old HCL CL-11 (yeah, ancient and I keep it for a backup, since my Nolan cushioning went kaput and I haven't been able to get a replacement liner for it), and it fits pretty well. Because it's real difficult to remove the liner in this helmet, I just finagled the cords for the speakers and the microphone under the liner. Fits!4. Ambient noise. Wow! This helmet, compared to the other helmets I own, a Nolan and real old HCL, is noisy. Because I have a Sena bluetooth, I also use earplugs to block out most of the ambient noise so I can hear music or a phone call. Music and calls do come through, but there is so much ambient noise to ignore (so far, I haven't had people complain about noise on the other end, since the Sena has noise canceling that apparently works well). This is the part where I I tell you, "You get what you pay for." Nolan helmets are notorious for not blocking out noise, but this one is worse. My old HCL I thought was noisy, but it's a Schuberth (not really, of course, but I think you get my drift) in comparison. With this helmet, I can barely hear any music above 60 miles an hour.Overall, a great buy, if you also wear ear plugs when you ride. (I do, since I want to save my hearing, which is bad enough already.) I'd have ranked it 5 stars, except for the helmet's inability to block out ambient noise compared to my other helmets. After about an hour or so, the noise issue seems imperceptible; I usually notice it for the first 30 minutes or so of my ride if I haven't hopped on the bike for a while.
