Sturdy though really light weight.
These steps are really light weight. They feel like fisher price plastic steps for kids. Even so, these are pretty sturdy and I had no worries of my 80lb dog using them. Super simple to assemble, the pieces snap together. The carpet on the steps are attached via velcro, so it's easy just to pull them off and wash them if needed. If you are going to use on hardwood flooring, I would find some way to make sure they don't slide because they are definitely light enough to go flying sideways on a smooth floor.

Perfect for the little pups
I've had the exact same step for many years. I always have it next to the bed so the little pups can get up and down. It works perfect and is is well made. I had the original step foe at least 10 years. It says it hold 150lbs but I speped on it, accidentally, and it broke. It holds 150lbs but apparently not 160lbs haha highly recommend

Nice looking, at least
Purchased these so my miniature dachshund could get in and out of my bed at night, it’s just too tall for her to jump. The stairs themselves are nice, they’re lightweight and simple to put together.Con: the steps themselves are angled. My dachshund isn’t a big fan of that.Con: they’re HARD to put together, not difficult but they require a lot of strength to pop into place.Con: it’s super easy to scrunch the pegs that hold it together, as they’re made out of the same thin plastic as the rest of the stairs. Once scrunched, they’re unusable. They won’t un-scrunch, and the scrunched pegs won’t fit in the already very snug holes.

Perfect for my 10 and 15 lb pups
I have a shitzu and maltipoo and they both easily took to these stairs to get up AND off the sofa. I think because they are wide, deep and stable, they both feel secure to use them. I've tried a ramp and 3 other types of stairs that failed miserably. One of those was the smaller Pet Gear stairs. Try if u r interested in getting your small pooch to stop flinging themselves off the furniture. Good luck!

Pet steps
Our dog is getting older and isn’t able to jump on the Porch swing to lay by his mommy so I ordered these. They are a good quality of plastic step with carpet velcro padsIt arrived earlier then stated and was very easy to assembleNow he’s able to get on/off the swing without pain

Pet Gear II Steps
Dogs didn't know what to make of it. One even peed on it. After a day or two, they're using it. Easy to put together. Pads attached with velcro so they can be removed for cleaning.

Damaged item and a hassle to return after assembled
Unfortunately, out stairs were damaged. We didn’t notice until after putting together that two of the pieces were badly dented but there was no damage to the box 📦. And now, it’s a hassle to try and take a part to repack for any sort of replacement. Unfortunately, that was the only option was return to replace instead of some sort of discount. A bit frustrating and time consuming. Would had been satisfied with some sort of discount. Other than than stairs seem sturdy and nice.

Sturdy for little dogs
These are sturdy for little dogs (7 and 19 lbs). They do have a bit of a chemical odor so we out gas them in the basement for a couple of weeks before putting them in the main part of the house. They are the right size for our sofas.

28 lb Frenchie approved
The media could not be loaded. So steady and safe that my dog even rests on it. I previously bought cheaper one that was built from cardboard, so wobbly that my dog needs to walk cautiously on it. This one is definitely worth the price!
