Came in a funny generic package with no instructions
Same high quality heavy duty rubberized connections as other vendors offer. Came in a funny generic package with no instructions, but who needs them to screw in light bulbs? LED lights are high quality, true 4 watts, and dimmable. Socket has a rubber flange that seals in bulb pretty good. Every bulb worked, yea!I used the Leviton TBL03-10E 300-watt Tabletop Slide Control Lamp Dimmer. Worked amazing well. Power control went from 60 watts to 5 watts or so, from very bright (read a newspaper) to less than a candle and barely visible at twilight. I've got them set up on a timer. 10 watts of power provides a night patio glow for not much electricity cost.Hint: put up string first, then adds bulbs a few at a time. Once you're sure you have the layout you want, add small nails to hold up all lights and add the remainder of the bulbs.

bulbs are horrible, all failed in < 1 year, cord is good.
June 2018 edit: Every single bulb burned out. With minor use in home since I replaced all in string with 2 watt bulbs. the 4 w bulbs (that worked) were too bright. In home use in lamps and wall light and fan lights all failed! Oct 10 edit at least 12 of the 30 bulbs have gone bad. They flicker and go off. I have been using them in regular fixtures. They never contacted me back about the first review. Put up the lights a month ago and installed a compatible LED dimmer. I used the lights over a patio and spaced them about 18 inches apart. The 4 watt are too bright for this purpose even when dimmed as low as they can go before flickering (the dimmer switch has internal adjustment). These have normal plug, my outdoor outlet has an inside switch which is where I installed the dimmer. Two bulbs are bad one comes on and off and one is dim regardless of setting. The two that failed just did last week. I have only had them on a few times likely less than 6 hours. I am contacting seller about them. I ordered 2 watt bulbs to replace these and will use these 4 watt for other purposes. Use the 2 watt model if you don't want to be blown away by brightness. Costco sells a set that dims and changes color but the bulbs were way too dim and were low voltage so plug had a built in transformer which would not fit in outdoor water protected receptacle.

Junk
Update #23 more bulbs on the blink or out completely. Don’t waste your money here. I’ll probably have to replace all 3 sets in the next few months.Update 1.5 year later-These are LED bulbs. They should last a lot longer than they are. At this point, I have 10 bulbs out of 3 strands that no longer work. Rating revised to 2 stars for unsatisfactory quality.Ordered 4 strandsand installed along fence top. They look great and dim very nicely. Full brightness lights up my backyard well. 1 star deduction due to 2 bulbs going on the blink within approx 24 hours of use.Update 3/23/2019About half of the bulbs ar either out or on the blink. LED bulbs should last longer than a couple of years, particularly given how little I use them. JUNK.

I love the look of these lights
I love the look of these lights, but they promised years of enjoyment. I'm on my second summer, I took them down for the winter, packed them meticulously and put them back up this summer, all but 2 bulbs worked. 1 week later I now have 8 bulbs not working. What the heck? LED bulbs should give me 8-10 years, these bulbs maybe have 15 hrs on them. I might be saving in electricity, but not saving on the product. Now ordering $32 dollars worth of be bulbs... Disappointing!!

Very nice. But I ordered 2 of these and after ...
Lights are very bright. Very nice. But I ordered 2 of these and after only a month one of the FEIT light bulbs quit working. These are LED lights that should last for years. When I wrote amazon about getting replacement bulbs they said I had to send the entire order back. No way! Not taking down 96 feet of lights that I put up!

Don't worry about the flicker. Great lights
For the price these really can't be beaten. We used these to light a 6000sq/ft room with the lights daisy chained on a dimmer. Works brilliantly. A few strands had a flicker upon install but stopped after a few hours. I've heard of lights like these needing to "burn in". Not sure how accurate that is but it seemed to be the case here. No problems after that. out of the 180 or so bulbs we have in the room about 4 have gone out in the first two months. Not sure why, but that shouldn't happen.
