I saw that this was a frequently returned item so thought I would offer some insight. This works excellently if you follow the instructions precisely. In particular, do not mix it until about 20 minutes before you plan to use it. This is a natural product and if you try to mix it a day or two ahead, it will develop an odor. In this way, it is not like henna, which you might mix well before use. Follow the instructions and it's a great value for the price.

I have salt and pepper hair, and it’s very fine. I normally mix 50/50 with regular rajestani henna and indigo to cover my gray, and it normally looks like orange highlights. This time I decided to do 90% indigo mix. Left it for about 90 min, and my hair is now dark brown, and no orange. Great fine powder consistency, no impurities. Will buy this again!

Do not buy this product. When you mix, you expect this to be a soft paste so that you can apply it easily. But this keeps falling all over. The results are also bad. Terrible product. Addendum: We did buy this brand before but it was never like this.

I have used it 5 to 6 times now and actually cover my grey and it's all natural products so you can avoid using chemical products... And it stays longer around 5 to 7 wash ... It's really good for hair...

This indigo has great color but could definitely use a few extra pass through the sifter. However the price point does compensate for it.

It is a herbal base, pigmentated Indigo powder. It comes with a very mild herbal scent. I use the mixture of Henna and this Indigo powder together as my hair dye to avoid the chemical PPD. First, I use the Henna powder with vinegar paste, then I mix the indigo powder with some hot black tea and olive oil in a plastic bowl. I use a brush and a comb to apply the paste all over my head. I wrap my head up with plastic wrap for about 30 minutes. The final step is to rinse the hair with lukewarm water. I do not experience any irritation on my scalp like other brands. It deposits a nice dark brown color that also gives a shiny, and manageable natural-looking color.

I wasn`t sure what to expect but this product did not really give me what I desired. The color did not stick to my hair. i could see the henna shine through.. It also left too many wooden pieces in my hair that I had to keep shaking out. Unfortunately, I bought a big bag

Färbt super, man muss halt auf die Temperatur achten! Färbt logischer Weise blaues Schwarz, also wird es nach jeder Haarwäsche etwas heller und man sieht das Blau. Ich mische das deshalb gerne mit Henna, da warte ich aber bis die Henna-Mischung nur noch lauwarm oder kalt ist!!!!!!! Wenn man bei Indigo Wasser über 60°C reingibt, färbt es gar nicht, das hat aber nichts mit der Qualität dieses Produktes zu tun. Manche Leute lieben aber dieses Pechschwarz, dann braucht man kein Henna, sollte aber eher kalt Haare waschen und öfter als Drogerie-Farbe nachfärben. Dafür macht es die Haare nicht kaputt. Ob es für Leute mit empfindlicher Haut geeignet ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen, weil ich relativ unsensible Haut habe.

I really like this product it naturally black my hairs first we should use henna on hairs for 2 hours then rinse it hairs become red then use indigo powder mixing with Luke warm water then apply on hairs after 1 hour wash with water finally hairs become black naturally.

Feinpulvrige Qualität. Da ich nur einen kleineren Anteil dieses Pulvers mit dem Hennapulver des gleichen Anbieters benutze, kann ich nicht sagen, wie Färbqualität des unvermischten Pulvers ist. Zusammen mit Henna funktioniert es gut bei braunen Haaren.
