Aifro WaterEco Lite Wi-Fi Irrigation Controller, Weather Aware, 16 Zones

I can't believe I have to give this irrigation controller one star because it deserves 0 stars. My buddy helped me connect it and used an app on his android and it worked. But I have an iPhone and there is no iPhone app. Tried to create an account but when you enter your info and submit, the web site is "loading" for eternity. There is no phone number to call and no response to e-mails. So I have a plastic box on my garage wall and no way to water the lawn. I processed the return today and will order a new controller from a legit company. I don't think Aifro is even in business anymore judging by the lack of response and the inability to create a customer account at their web site.

Terrible product, terrible support, terrible quality, I bought it Nov. 2016 and it is not working anymore. Not even the manufacturers website works. There is no support at all. Amazon should not sell this product.

I did not get to install the product. The unit that came was very flimsy. Plastic was hard and thin, the kind thats too easy to break. The green lid that covers the cables was difficult to remove so when I felt I was about to break it I decided to stop and return it to amazon for a refund.I cannot say how the thing works but its built in the cheapest way possible. AVOID! I have returned also the orbit wifi controller but that unit was well built, sturdy and had a screen all for about $50 less. If you could live with the "smart" features that controller look like its gonna last forever.****UPDATE**** so after I processed the return Amazon said no need to return it so I tried to use it (thing's for free so why not?).Long story short this is thing is absolutely worthless. Not even for free Id keep it. Impossible to set up, impossible to read the instructions card, absolutely a nightmare. Should send them an invoice for my wasted time...

The controller arrived in time and I installed it to replace my outdated controller. I followed the quick start guide contained in the pack and finished the installation without any trouble. There is a LED light on the controller and when I finished the wifi configuration, it would be lit solid green. I installed and ran Aifro App on my Android phone. Then I didn't have to use the controller any more, only use my phone. There are 16 inherent zones, which outstands many other controllers equipped with 8 zones. The WATER ALL button really worked. I tapped it and all my zones were watered without problems. For one zone watering, I tapped the zone icon and then touched the "Water" button. The default watering time for every zone is 5 minutes and I customized the value for each zone to meet my different plant types.On the zone setting window, the AI smart adjustment function is a highlight. The prompt says that if this option is chosen, my device will automatically adjust the duration of watering according to the weather forecast and plant type, so I decided to use this function and programs from now on to save my time for setup. I set two programs to water my Zone 2, 5, 6 at 9 a.m. every Wednesday and water Zone 9, 10, 11 at 12 a.m. every day and they worked as expected. The manual says the device can also be controlled through web browser but I didn't test it and will try later. Until now, this controller works for me and I haven't found serious problems.

I have had this controller for over 1.5 yrs and it truly was working quite well. 2 months ago, it stopped connecting to the cloud.I emailed customer support which in the past has need very responsive and now they are no longer responding back.If I had to guess, they have stopped the cloud service and leaving your customers out in the cold.I am shocked a company would do this as this product was really a good product. Now without cloud connection, I can't control the unit nor will it register to the weather.Avoid just like the Aifro company is doing to their loyal customers!

Last year, I would have given this five stars. Today, it will run through the schedule but will not connect to the Aifro cloud. I programed through my phone and don't think I can make changes. It tells me to check my internet connection on both the device and phone. My internet connection is working fine by the fact that I am writing this review. I sent a e-mail to Aifro and received no response. The reason I am on Amazon toeay is because I am looking for a new controler and came acroos this again. If my suspicion, and that of other reviewers, is correct, Aifro's cloud is down and you will not be able to connect to the internet.
