Dr Grabow Riviera Smooth Tobacco Pipe

First off, I want to say that I actually received the pipe I ordered, there was no mixup. Secondly this is one great pipe—all of the Dr. Grabows are. They are perfect starting pipes, that if you take care of, will last a very long time. The smoking is fine, and the quality is great. All for a reasonable price. I got this pipe for my Dad and he loves it. But PLEASE make sure to break in your pipe properly otherwise, you can, and will, damage it permanently.

I Have Ordered This Pipe Every Year Or So, And Each Time The Pipe Is Totally Different. May 2024, It is stamped as Riviera, but looks more like a Duke, as I have had a few of those in the past too. The bowl is twice as big as I like, which is why I moved to the Smooth Riviera. Still A Great Pipe, Just Wish The Design Was More Consistent.

I'm a woman tobacco pipe smoker and I love this pipe. It's feels delicate and light to hold (both in your hand or clenched in your teeth), but still sturdy enough for a hot pipe smoker like me (meaning, I like to keep the smoke constantly going).

I ordered the riviera pipe but got the duke instead. Package said riviera, but what was inside looked very different. Considering the package is completely transparent I would think that a mis-packaged pipe would be obvious to quality control. Hint, choosing a pipe is all about reflecting personal style. The pipe I got does not reflect me. Very hesitant to reorder cause who knows what I'll get, and returning is a huge hassle as far as I'm concerned. very disappointed!
