I normally use 1 aluminum container 13 x 9 inches per 1 bag Tiramisu

Does this take the place of the mascarpone cheese needed for tiramisu?

Yes it does. It works very well if you don't want to use the mascarpone cheese. I was able to half the contents of this mix, so I got (2) 9x9 tirimusi from the one package.... 1 pint of cream per half of the mix. Good to go for 2 tirimusi. I was able to make one tirimusi for Thanksgiving and 1 for Christmas. Hope this info. Is helpful. Have a great holiday season. 🙋♀️
