These do not have pesticide on them correct?

Correct - no pesticides. They have a scent to them, like honey I think. They are really sticky. If you have babies or small pets, you want to put the traps where they can't reach. I put them under furniture against the wall.

Spider images work great for hunting arachnids such as brown recluse!

This device works by having a very sticky surface for spiders to walk on and get stuck. I do not believe the images help or hinder the operation of the trap, but I would have no way of knowing for sure. All I can tell you is that we put them in corners and catch a variety of different spiders. After these traps have been placed on corders for a few months, all the spiders seem to have disappeared. The reason it takes several months of continuous operation is that spiders lay eggs and the eggs seem to be programmed to hatch about a month or two after they have been laid. Kill off one generation, and you have at least another generation to re-kill. We have seen Brown Recluse spiders in our home, and now we don't have any spiders.

Worked Very Well!!

Takes the Creepers Away!

I HATE bugs and I HATE HATE cockroaches. Living in the desert in the summer brings all types of creepy bugs into your house unexpectedly. I have had a few bugs, big and small creep inside to escape the heat. The sprays I've used do not do the trick plus I have two fur babies that I need to protect. This product has been a lifesaver for me and I can't tell you how much it has saved me from the stress of finding creepy bugs running around. I place these sticky mats under my refrigerator, dishwasher and any cabinets where they'll fit without showing. Since using these things, I've been creature-less! It's been more tha 30 days without me finding any semblance of a bug. Not sure if this stuff attracts them or just grab them if they walk on them but I'm a happy desert dweller once again! This is a no-brainer for the price and my pets are safe from breathing those ugly bug sprays.

Works great to catch but looks unappealing.

Scared of spiders? You should be. These traps worked great to capture brown recluse spiders, however the traps at a distance can give you quite a fright due to the printed design, which may serve to attract the spiders in the first place. The straps are STICKY and they WILL keep the critters at bay. They caught a full on salamander and would not let it go.

Not Safe to be Around Animals/Pets as listed

After showing Vet this product said would be the same for any child or pet. According to my vet they dont expect my dog to live. Spider pictures are a No!

I'm giving 3 stars simply because of the spider pictures on these. Just why???? Spiders first of all aren't attracted to other spiders and second of all, it makes it difficult to see if you actually have spiders on the board. I should have just bought regular sticky traps but I was hoping these would have a smell or something that attracted spiders. I got bit by a brown recluse a couple of weeks ago, hence why I bought these but I can't tell if I have caught anyNats. On my deck except nats.
