Easily my favorite shampoo bar, EVER.Lathers nicely & leaves my hair feeling super clean & bouncy. Doesn’t dry it out or leave it tangled. I will never use regular shampoo again... found this at tj maxx & luckily found it on here!

Best smelling shampoo ever! I went Zero Waste 7 months ago and was making my own products. My hair was fine at first, but then looked heavy. I ordered this and I’m so pleased. I don’t even need conditioner or a vinegar rinse. I’ll be ordering again!

The bar itself works great - only takes a couple swipes on the scalp and then it lathers up well as you rub with your hands. Rinsing, your hair literally squeaks (not sure that’s good?)What isn’t so great is that the bar arrived in a plastic mailing bag and the cardboard package the bar was in was placed in yet another plastic ziplock bag. The main reason I’m moving from liquid shampoo to bars is to not consume so much plastic!

I bought this because I wanted a shampoo/body combo bar for traveling. As a shampoo, it did a good job. My hair was literally squeaky clean but I felt as though I would eventually need a conditioner as this might dry my hair out. As a body bar, I didn't care for it. Again, my skin was squeaky clean but felt more dry than usual after I got out of the shower. Maybe TMI here, but others might want to know - it's not good for use on the privates because it burns. All in all, it's just a little too harsh for my liking.

I was using a popular expensive shampoo bar brand and their body soap. They make you think it is all natural and I found out it wasn't. After a while my skin didn't like any of their body soaps or many different shampoo bars. I was finally using the children's purple shampoo bar as it was the only one that worked and didn't bother me. Most of the ones I tried they reformulated and they just got worse, the children's one too. It had more oats in it than soap and fell apart faster. I found Auromere Ayurvedic Shampoo Bar and their vanilla neem body bar too and decided to try it out, as I take neem so why not try it on the outside as well? OMG my hair has never felt softer and it smells like sandalwood all the time. My hair used to stink after washing it with the other shampoo bar. This one leaves it smelling good till you wash it again and its so soft and does not feel like tangled straw. If your smell intolerant I wouldn't recommend it. If you like sandalwood and don't mind smelling good then definitely try it! You use very little and it gets sudsy like bottle shampoo, the best part the bar lasts a long time. I thought at first the smell of it was strong but after being in my shower a while it mellowed out but still smells amazing!!

I absolutely hated this bar my first use... but once I used it properly it's my favorite shampoo ever. You want to be extra careful not to use too much (more than other shampoo bars). The scent is SO strong. It's natural, so no worries if you have chemical fragrance sensitivities (as I do)... but it's overpowering and VERY hard to wash out if you use too much. You want to lather it in your hands... not much at all... and then use the lather to essentially just wash your scalp... the soap runoff is enough to clean the ends. RINSE RINSE RINSE. Then repeat the process. It's better to use a little and wash a couple of times than to try and get a big lather.The scent when you do it this way is fabulous... like faint incense and keeps your hair fresh smelling for days between washing. I follow with a DIY ACV rinse and/or flaxseed gel conditioner. Your hair feels a little waxy until it dries... but feels silky and amazing once it does.

I love this product! I have long straight hair with oily scalp and dried ends. This makes it so I don't have to wash my hair everyday, maybe every other day or every 3 days if I use a little bit of dry shampoo. Before using this I'd have to wash my hair everyday so I wouldn't look like a grease ball. It makes my hair shiny, itlasts a long time, lathers really well, and smells great. It also helps with the acne I get on my scalp. I recommend this product!

I've waited a few weeks to write this review to see if I remained as pleased with this bar as the first time I used it. I have! Because I have thinning hair, I want something that will give my hair body and volume - which this does. It also makes my hair soft and easy to manage without drying it out. I love everything about Auromere shampoo bar, from the unique smell to the way my hair looks every time I use it. This is my new favorite shampoo bar and I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about giving it a try.

The soap is useless. I found a lot more hair falling when using this soap. It's not a conditioner so it leaves your hair static and dry. I wouldn't buy it again.
