Solid and excellent quality
I am very impressed with this cover. The leather is thick and the stitching is perfect all round. It's a little stiff (being new) and though it's designed for the Traveller style inserts, I am curently using it for two hardback Leuchtturm style books (though it makes the whole thing very heavy). I have a feeling that this cover is going to last many, many years. Edit: after 4 months of daily use I am even happier with this product than I was when I bought it. The leather, which was quite stiff when new, is now supple and flexible, and is just stating to show a bit of patina where it gets handled the most. The elastics are still holding up excellently well. I'd give an extra star if I could.

Takes three journals easily.
I love this. Two hard back journals in situ with a removable pad between them. The front/back covers’ pockets are little treasures. All sorts of considerations to add. Buying journals that can open flat to give ease when writing is the best option. The spine width allows this. Great buy. Edit: It has been about three years now since buying the Newestor. I have added a few things, like the ‘Raw’ leather patch to hold back pens. I carry the Newestor in my ‘man bag’. Because it has elastic band supports for housing a number of notebooks or journals, it can be interchangeable at the drop of a hat. I do have ‘interest’ themes and can swap quickly to house a current project. Song lyrics I write, photography trips, general daily thoughts and affirmations, complementary therapies, planning for a specific project, etc.. It can be used for any journal or notebook that I’m using from one week to the next. Remove and quickly replace basically. Currently? My two main notebooks here in the photographs are Fountain pens I own (currently writing down and recording each one with information about each pen) and Favourite Lists of various nature. Favourite books, films, music, foods, recipes, etc. Using fountain/gel/ballpoint pens, pencils, I have stuck the elastic retainers inside. Also, the little ‘get at’ small traveller thin notebooks, spare paper and various sticker needs are easily contained in the inside pockets. They are ideal for many considerations. I also bought a canvas burgundy ‘secretarial’ case for holding various EDC (everyday carry) items. Okay…..it looks busy presently. But I can reduce to a couple of journals and a few pens to become lighter and easy to carry around. But all in all, I love the fact that it can become either a tome of inclusions. Or simply two, three or four central notebook/journals of choice. I am thinking of getting a smaller version for pocket carrying.

Wonderful product, especially for the price!!
If you are looking for a travellers notebook that is affordable but good quality I would go for this one. It’s really good quality, and looks exactly like the photos, it doesn’t smell at all and is the perfect size. It’s also a lovely rich colour and doesn’t look cheap at all even compared to some others that are considerably more expensive. Overall very happy!

Excellent Journal Binder
I currently have 4 cahier size a5 inserts plus a Moleskine softcover a5 notebook slipped inside the back flap. I use a journal like this for all sorts of things, mainly keeping track of various things in my life (movies watched, fish caught, travel notes, etc). The quality is much better than I expected. It will certainly last a long time. It is genuine leather, and will acquire ‘experience’ over time and gain a distressed look. It’s also very portable and is a pleasure to carry around. For those unfamiliar with ‘Midori’ style travel journals, inside are several threads which allow you to put a5 jotter style notebooks, whether blank, lined or squared as per your preference. For those wondering if it is worth the 30 quid? It is. Very much. An excellent journal which gives me much pleasure owning and using.

A6 for pocket Moleskine ❤️
I love it. After seeing vids on YT I decided to buy the A6. It holds a daily moleskine and a week on one page notes on the other Moleskine. Plus a hard backed note book. I'm using the bands to hold it all in. So I can still use the side pockets. I paid £25.99. Well made. Leaves a slight edge around the inserts. The pocket size would have more of a snug look around the pocket moleskine. I can put tabs on my inserts and it's still OK. Leather pen loop if you want to use it. Gorgeous and a great Xmas present to me :) and the smell of the leather hmmmm

I wish it had suited my purposes
I really wanted to be able to keep this. It is really solid leather and made very sturdily. For me the problem is that the spine is built in, like a hardcover book. This determines the number of notebooks it has to contain, or at least, how wide they have to be together. I don't use that many notebooks, or any fat ones. I use the A5 kraft 'insert' type, and have maybe 3 on the go at a time. So this lovely, solid, tactile cover is too big for me. If you, however, want a great cover for about an inch's worth of notebooks, I don't hesitate to recommend it to you.

Really solid bit of kit; maybe a bit too solid.
A really big lump of leather which seems really stiff and unwieldy straight out the box. A couple of hours in the sofa with a good movie just rolling and twisting the cover makes the leather much more supple and is the start of developing an interesing patina. The double thickness in the spine may make it more hardwearing, but it also makes it much more bulky, which isn't ideal. The internal pockets also add the the bulk and the rigidity. Overall its a nice enough product, but it isn't the slim, flexible Traveller's Notebook that can be stuffed into coat pockets or hardly taking up any space in your carry-on bag.

The Big one
This A6 notebook cover has the largest capacity of any I've come across. I comfortably got 3 x 200 page notebooks in it. I was a little concerned with the photo of the product made me think that it might look scruffy or already ill-used. In my hand, we can dispense with this concern. The item is much more aesthetically pleasing than you would think from the photo.. Its leather all right. A top quality item.

Excellent product - best brand for travellers' journals
This is the third Newestor / September Leather traveller's journal which I've purchased. The quality of all their products that I've owned is excellent, and the packaging is great too - plus you can use the sleeve and carton to store spare notebooks. This time I purchased the A5 size so I have more room to write comfortably. The leather is very good quality and feels great to the touch. Its thick and the stitching is excellent. There is plenty of room inside too. The card holders and inner sleeves are a very useful addition. With four 50 sheet notebooks inside it doesn't feel cramped and has room for more if I really wanted. I also own their plain passport size and standard travellers journals. I've had those for some time, and they have aged very nicely. I have compared to other brands including the OG Midori, and the quality and finish of this brand is more durable and much better value. I highly recommend Newestor / September Leather.
