Would buy again
An excellent wire for the price.Ran two 4" beads on a flat piece of metal with with Hobart .030" wire, PNG .030" wire and PNG .035" wire. The Hobart wire and the .030" PNG wire welded exactly the same with very minimal spatter. The PNG .035" wire spattered a bit more and every once in a while for a second or two it welded with a bad arc like I had a poor ground. I use the .035" wire to build up wear pads on a couple of snowplow blades so for my application the .035" wires shortcomings is not a problem. Especially at one third the price of a spool of Hobart wire from Princess Auto I would definitely buy the PNG wire again. From reading some of the other reviews it may seem that PNG may have a slight problem with quality control.

Housing damaged, poor packaging, good wire.
It looks like the supplier opens and trims down the box to fit it in a smaller box for shipping, there is no packing material. The wire housing is damaged in shipping. both the core and the web of the housing had small chunks that cracked off. Mine was still functional to use.As far as the actual wire and welding experience, welds very smooth, no issues, feels quality. Minimal spatter, slag removal was typical.Just wish the packaging was more protected
