Worked great for my older remote and keypad
My old remote works pretty well, but the previous owners of the house didn't leave me a keypad code. I was going to get the little jumper device to program my keypad from my old remote but decided to get this so I have a spare remote too. My existing remote is the older style with a big oval button and a smaller one under it.It took me a bit to get the contacts connected with the jumper pins but once I did the instructions worked perfectly. Similar experience programming the keypad. The keypad didn't have any sort of tactile feedback that the pins were inserted correctly but I eventually got it. Instructions I found online worked. Connect the working remote with the keypad, hold down remote main button, then on keypad press enter, your new 4-digit code, and enter. Wait for the keypad lights to flash and then you can let go of the remote button and it's set.
