I’ve been using Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy for 3 years now, my wife for 1 year. I drink this during the second half of my workouts & bike rides. For workouts, I mix a serving (2 scoops) in a 16oz bottle of water. For bike rides, I add a serving to my 20oz water bottle. My wife mixes 1 serving in a 16oz bottle of water to drink after her runs. We both agree, ON Amino Energy helps us recover from our workouts. For the most part their flavors are all pretty good, some definitely better than others. My wife thinks the Green Apple flavor is “ok”. It’s not her favorite, but it’s drinkable. I’m not a big fan of this flavor. It’s a bit intense for my taste. It won’t keep us from buying it in the future, as we like to vary flavors. My wife really likes the Watermelon & I have to agree w/her. The Peach Lemonade is a favorite of mine, she thinks it’s “ok”. Her favorite flavor is Strawberry.

Say you're bad at hydration, and nutrition. I'm not saying this is a substitute for either, but... Ok, yeah, maybe I'm saying that. A purchased this for a friend who is really bad at both of the above items. He started with another flavor of this brand, and found that mixing a minimal amount into water both helped him hydrate better, and the steady supply of amino acids and other good stuff (technical term) in this product helped him feel stronger, heal faster from minor injuries, and not hurt as much. Admittedly, drinking a few cups a day of a small amount of powder in water does increase hydration, too, so it's not all the powder. This flavor was ordered for very specific reasons - it was the cheapest 65 serving container that was in stock. When mixing it, it smells like green apple Jolly Ranchers, and tastes like them, too. Sports nutrition that tastes like candy? Totally sold.

I mix these up in place of energy drinks. They dissolve easily, but require constant shaking as it settles quickly. The green apple tastes like a jolly rancher. The packaging disappoints as it comes about half full, maybe less. I get that it settles, but I dump the entire contents into the next size smaller package and save space in my cupboards. Cheaper and easier than energy drinks, probably healthier, too.

The green apple flavor tastes just like green jolly rancher flavored candy all you have to do is pour some ice and it’s amazing also the grape flavor is me of my favorites !

If you enjoy sour apple Jolly Ranchers, that is what this drink tastes like. I'm hooked! Sometimes I drink this in the morning in lieu of coffee. It doesn't bother my stomach like coffee either! At the 2:00 hour in my work day, I typically hit a real dip in my energy level. All I do now is get hopped up on Aminos and handle my business. Used as a pre-workout drink, it's perfect. It's not too chemically, or strong. It's very easy to control the strength by the amount of scoops you put in. I would start with one scoop and work your way up. I use two scoops to start in the morning, and then one if I have an afternoon drink. It sharpens your mind and gives you energy! This stuff will also make you give 150% during your workout! Great pre workout

Tengo 5 años usando esta marca y es la única que me gusta. No pica como las otras, te da bastante energía y hay variedad de sabores. Este sabor está horrible por cierto, y el color es verde radioactivo. No lo pediría de juego en este sabor pero igual, es el único pre que usare por siempre

Not sure this stuff works or not, but tastes good anyway.
