between quality parts and good design, it is a great stationary bike
It took me a "minute" to choose this bike. This is my 1st stationary bike. It is very easy to use, and assemble (still takes some time, but it is easy: good directions are included), easy to adjust Tension on it, has good functionality, good speed and stability, and ultimately, very enjoyable. The way I decided on Yosuda, is by finding a bike with most reviews, with average of 4.5 stars. Then I tried to figure out the differences between different models of Yosuda. The reason I liked this model is because it has magnetic tension, which will never need any maintenance, as opposed to mechanical tension, where the pads need to be changed out. Due to magnetic tension, it is much quieter, which I also liked much more than the noisier, less expansive bikes. And also, this model has 2 adjustments for the steering: up and down, plus closer and away. This particular feature, I knew, was important to me. I don't like to exercise in a suggested bent-over pasture. I have never been a "real" bicyclist. I want to exercise while sitting up-right. And indeed, with all the adjustments, I am able to do exactly that: sit upright while exercising. Note about the seat: provided seat is of very high quality: it is fairly sizy, yet fairly light. The one quality I was looking for was comfort. And it was as comfortable as a high performance seat can be. But I had my own comfortable seat that was not high performance, and was a lot heavier than the included seat. But for a stationary bike, it does not matter. So I swapped it, and it is significantly more comfortable than the included seat. But my seat is of lesser quality, and it creeks a little bit when I use the bike. Probably a little oil can fix that. Anyway, between quality parts and good design, it is a great stationary bike.

Good value for the price
I've had for a year now and haved used regularly. Overall it works well. Build quality feels sturdy. But... some of the finer details fall short. For example the electronic LED screen is not backlit and can be very hard to see if the room is not well lite such as a cloudy day. I found a way to use a flashlight with a magnetic base to overcome this fault. Also the screen needs to be adjusted too just the right angle to see good. Also the fore and aft adjustment for the handlebars looks great in the merchandising photos but sliding adj. back to where I need it, the pinch bolt cannot be tightened because of poor design. The seat height could use more options. Also if more than one person is using and the seat height needs frequent changing, you must use EXTREME care to not strip out the threads. If they did strip, it could potentially ruin the bike. That certainly could use a better design. Finally the resistance adj. could be better. Although the magnetic resistance works well and is nice and quiet, I cannot adj. enough resistance for me to stand and pedal as I would like. I feel like one more magnet could solve that issue. Before I purchased this bike I shopped local brick and mortars and saw better known brand names with much higher price points that looked like very similar design with very similar flaws. Overall this bike seems to be holding up good mechanically and I use it alot. For the price I can work through the flaws and get a good workout. I would buy again.

Very solid bike
I've been using this bike for the past 16 months and really like it. I typically ride for 20 minutes, 4-5 days per week. Pros -Easy to assemble. I remember putting on the cross rails on the bottom was a little tricky, but not terrible. -Overall feel is good. Handlebar position is good, pedals work well. I enjoy riding it -Very quiet, there is virtually zero noise from the wheel or pedals. The only issue I've had with noise is a little bit of squeaking from the seat (see Cons below) -My wife also uses it, and it's easy to adjust the seat position up and down -The phone stand works well, I often throw my phone on it to watch TV. You can probably fit a smaller iPad, but not a laptop -The little computer device works fine. I typically just use it for RPMs, but it's very simple Cons -I am a 6'1" male, and I use the highest seat setting. While it fits and my legs are almost fully extended while pedaling, I wish the seat went higher. The reason is that at max height, the seat rail only sits a few inches into the holster. It's not necessarily unstable or wobbly in this position, but the metal will make slight squeaking sounds, especially if I don't tighten the seat screw each time I ride it. If you are taller than 6'1", this may be too small for you. -Small complaint, and I doubt any spin bikes have this feature, but I wish there was a way to quantify the resistance level based on how tight the red screw gets. Not a huge deal thought. Overall, this is a great bike and good value.

Great product
This has been a great addition to my home gym. The delivery actually showed up three days earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise. Assembly was much easier than I expected. It took me around 20 minutes, and the manual was really well written and easy to follow. I didn’t have to sit there trying to figure out what went where, which I definitely appreciated. The machine also feels very solid. I’m 6 ft tall and about 230 lbs, and even when I pedal fast and really push on it, it stays stable and doesn’t shake around. So far, I’m very happy with it. It feels sturdy, was easy to put together, and I’m looking forward to getting a lot of use out of it.

One of the best gift from God
I have knee problem preventing me from exercise. This summer I tried road biking and it works without knee pain. Then I worried about cold seasons. I did a thorough research both in Amazon and YouTube and decided to buy this one. It turned out to be so good that even my wife who doesn't care about biking fall in love with it:) You need to do descend research before buying an exercise bike because it is difficult to return for its weight and size. YouTubers don't seem to favor this one. I choose to trust Amazon review. It's rock solid and no touch pad. I used to be a mechanical engineer and would say no any maintenance for years to come. It's magnetic and ghost quiet. You can do exercise while watching TV, Apple TV, YouTube or listen to music. I figured that I can pedal it reversely to have zero impact on my knees. You pull the pedals from 2 o'clock to 10 o'clock or stretch it from 7 o'clock to 4 o'clock. Or auxiliary. The cal. burning rate is the same. You may need some practice to get used to it. The reverse motion actually minic knee rehab exercise while burning cals. I noticed they improve my knees over time. Some people have issues about the pedals fall off on the older model. I noticed this new model reinforced the pedals. Some people may put too high resistance and apply too much body weight on the pedals. Being a road biker, I can tell how much resistance to simulate real biking experience. For an average exercise biker, It's 100 cal., 3 miles, about 15(running) to 30 minutes(relaxing). That's about the right resistance. You'll see you don't have much weight on the pedals. In real road biking, if you put more weight than that, you'll getting faster and faster and tired soon or lost balance. If you really like more weight on the pedals, you are a mountain hiker. I think the 350 lbs means the structure can support a person with that weight, not on the pedals because belt drive mechanical system is for quiet and high speed, not for heavy weight. A 150 lb.-ft. torque is in the range of a car engine which uses gear drive. Youtubers complain that it has no fancy screen functions or online program. It serves my interest. I think those are for the people feel boring. If you can watch YouTube, Amazon Prime movie, Apple TV, etc. and listen to home theater music, why you need those bells and whistles. Some people complain about the screen is too dark. I agree. But products need trade off in design. If you want it brighter, you'll need to change battery frequently or hook up to electricity that is a no to me. For me to fix the problem, I bought a motion sensing light strip (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B1QCR88N?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and put it on the ceiling of the basement above the bike. It works perfectly for me. Some small size people have issues about the handle bar too far away. I kind of agree. I am 5'7" and ride on a 27" road bike. It's farther away than a 27" road bike. I can raise the height of the handle bar so it isn't a problem for me. For shorter people, it may be too far away. Hope new version can fix it. The screw hole on the handle bar actually goes through. If you want to fix it yourself, you can drill an M8 hole on the base, move the handle bar about 2 inch closer. It took me one hour. See attached picture. Some have issues with the seat. I feel the seat is very comfortable compare to my road bike. But after about 30 minutes run, I felt numbness of my butt, which never happen in road biking. Then I switched the seat with my road bike. The result is the same. Numbness on the indoor cycling. No such thing on road biking. It proved that it is the nature of stationary bike - because you sit still, no bump, it hampers blood circulation. The way I deal with it is to get off every 30 minutes or so, or create artificial bumps.

Loud and Quality Control
I bought this around 5 months ago and it made loud rumbling and clicking sounds right out of the box, however, it was tolerable and the ride was pretty smooth. Recently the bike started making even louder clanking and screeching noises on the flywheel so I decided to just dissect the bike and figure out the issue. Essentially, there are two bolts on each side of the flywheel that keeps the flywheel straight and in place. The bolts push against a metal cube connected to the axel of the wheel. Over time, these bolts loosen which causes the flywheel to go crooked and make loud clanking sounds. However, tightening the bolts will not fix the issue. You need to straighten the flywheel and have it aligned while tightening the bolts. If the flywheel is not straight and u tighten the bolts, your flywheel will still be crooked, the sounds will persist and the belt may come off. If you tighten the bolts too much, it will push the axel into the flywheel, which will cause loud screeching and friction. If you let the bolts out too loose, the belt will fall off. Ultimately I noticed that a lot of the parts inside the bike were not made cohesively and the build quality was kind of cheap. A lot of the parts were not 'fit' to specifications and felt kind of loosely assembled. For example, the bolt mechanism holding the flywheel in place was pretty poorly built and the axel holding the flywheel in place was loose and constantly scraping the flywheel. The little metal cube on the axel was not centered in the middle of the wheel when it came right out of the box and had been scraping the wheel for some time.. One of the corners of the cube is already gone from scraping against the wheel. TL;DR - If your flywheel is making noises, it is probably some part of the axel or mechanism holding the wheel in place touching the flywheel when u ride. You need to use the two bolts on each side of the flywheel to try to balance the flywheel. The product is somewhat poorly assembled and the parts are not 'cohesive' so it isnt necessarily easy to straighten the flywheel. You get what you pay for.

Not enough resistance to stand & ride, seat post squeaks when up too high.
Nice magnetic resistance bike, lots of adjustability. Great workout as long as you dont want max resistance to stand up and ride (see below). But a sit down ride is fine. Couple cons which im removing 1 star for: - the brake pad is on the same track as the magnets, so as you turn the knob and increase resistance (basically moving the magnets closer to the wheel), eventually you will hit max resistance b4 the brake pad starts rubbing on the wheel to stop. The issue is if you really want heavy resistance, such as to stand up to ride like you see in spin classes, you wont get it, the brake pad engages before you get there. I actually got a sand paper and filing tool, and sanded down the brake pad so I could get more resistance. There really is no use for a brake pad (when would you ever use brakes on this bike?) except to prevent the magnets from hitting the wheel. But they could have made the brake pad less thick on their own vs me having to sand it down. - the seat & pedals I'd say are average, but easily interchangeable so I swapped them out for my own after-market seat & pedals (pedals use 9/16th inch bearings which are standard on most bikes). My issue is the seat post, which has pre-cut holes or spacers 1 inch apart, as you go up to say level 7 height (which is max on this bike, for a 6ft plus man), there will be unbearable squeaking on the seat post as you ride. Its just due to the torque of a human adult body pedaling with the post up that high. Even with the knob tightened all the way to hold it, it squeaks incessently like a broken hamster wheel. Since I workout in the AM, even with me being in a separate room with door closed and fan on, my GF (who is trying to sleep) would come and yell at me that it's "too much squeaking!" and I had to shut it down. So now I had to lower the post 1 notch to level 6, which really my leg length is 6.5 which isn't available (you either choose 7 or 6), and I used duck tape around the bottom of post to hold it firmer, so there's less or minimal squeaking. It doesnt have to do with the seat itself (I tried 3 different ones), its the seat post and screw knob which is metal on metal. Maybe if they included a rubber washer with the knob it would help. Aside from all this the bike is great and I set it up in front of my standing desk with fans and good monitor, but the iPad holder works just as well. Edit after a couple months: I have the bike dialed in pretty well now. The seat post issue, it helped that I placed a rubber washer on the screw knob (I just bought a set of various size rubber washers and placed the one that fits on there. Why they couldn't include this with the bike IDK). So with the washer, some duck tape, and me manually tightening the screw knob b4 each ride, has seemed to resolve the squeaking issue. I can ride on level 7 height finally, but just have to re-tighten the knob each time b4 the ride (otherwise there will be squeaking). Also got some clip in Delta pedals & shoes which work nicely for the bike, along with a seat that opens up where my tailbone is. All of this stuff can be found on Amazon and fits onto the bike. I dont stand up to ride, just do a sit down ride for maybe 30 min intervals, and its a good workout.

Comparable to Stages SC3
This bike is well-designed and well-manufactured, and an excellent value. [THE FOLLOWING WAS WRITTEN SEVERAL MONTHS AGO. YOSUDA DID PROMPTLY DIAGNOSE AND RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM. ...other than the once-per pedal revolution "creak" noise generated by the crank on the down-stroke of the left pedal. I will try to contact Yosuda to understand how to gain access to the part that needs adjustment or lubrication.] I was impressed by the packing of the bike, the quality of the welds, and the solid materials. It was purchased 6 months ago as a home-substitute for the "Cycles SC3" that I use at a gym. The magnetic resistance system is well-implemented and becomes so hot after 30 minutes that I cannot hold my hand against the flywheel. I appreciate that the drive train, the most critical subsystem of the bike, comes pre-assembled, and only the feet, handlebars, and the LCD display need to be assembled. I regret not having a torque wrench to ensure that all the bolts were torqued correctly (observing that this isn't possible because Yosuda doesn't provide target torque levels for the screw/bolts). Some reviewers complain that the LCD screen is "faint". This complaint is due to a poor viewing angle. The standard position of the screen is "too vertical", making the screen optimally viewable by people who are very short, and very faint for people who are tall. A friend built a solution using a 3D printer that causes the screen to be much more horizontal and very easy to view. Even without this fix, the view angle is only a very minor inconvenience. Other small disappointments of which I hope Yosuda will take note are: 1. The seat stem is not close to long enough for a person with a 35" inseam. I've extended the stem beyond the "Stop" limit by 0.9 inches. The seat is still not high enough, but it's barely tolerable. I fault Yosuda for claiming the 35" maximum limit. 2. While the welds are generally excellent, the handlebars do not align with the frame of the bike, but are about 4-degrees to the right due to poor alignment of the weld between the chromed handlebar tube and chromed handlebar plate. MANY MONTHS AGO I WROTE: "My biggest complaint is the loud creak generated by the crank mechanism on the left pedal's downstroke. I hope that Yosuda can tell me how to lubricate the crank or other resolve this annoyance." After having waited several months to contact Yosuda, they ("Celine") responded promptly and requested a video of the problem. I waited a month to spend the 5 minutes needed to generate the video. They promptly responded with a diagnosis of a "bad crank bearing" of which there are two and sent replacement bearings which arrived a few days later. They also provided a video to demonstrate how to replace the bearings. I CONSIDER THIS EXCEPTIONAL AFTER-SALES SUPPORT--ALMOST QUALIFYING FOR A HIGHER-RATING THAN IF THE BIKE HADN'T HAD A BAD BEARING UPON DELIVERY. In summary, Yosuda agreed that the bike shouldn't creak, acknowledged that my individual bike did creak, and promptly sent me a solution to the problem. If the solution doesn't work, I'll report here, but based on the superlative service so far, I have raised my 3-stars to 5-stars. I look forward to buying other products from Yosuda (which certainly sounds like a Japanese name). Too bad other companies can't figure out how to provide comparable after-sales support. Kudos to Yosuda!

Well Made, Sturdy and Quiet.
Very good magnetic spin bike for home usage. Reviewed and compared multiple bikes at various price points and decided on the Yosuda Pro. The build quality, fit and finish is very good and the ride is stable, smooth and very quiet. Plastic components have good thickness and are very durable. The electronic monitor could really use a back-lit screen; not a deal breaker imho because the digital readout is large enough. The seat is a bit hard, but I'm guessing it is due to the fact it's new and it will soften up over time. The rollers are similar to those found on rollerblades and not the hard square edged type; maneuverability on both carpet and hard surfaces is excellent.

Great value for price
This bike is smooth and solid, only complaint but I knew before buying is it’s hard to see the lcd. A backlit version would be great. It’s fine in a bright room. The build quality is great for me. I’m 5’9” and 195lbs.
