Works great for containing 8 Boxer Puppies or 5 Shih Tzu Puppies or even 8 Shih Tzu Puppies
Well if you can't guess from the Headline, I had puppies a total of 21 puppies at one time. I had 3 separate rooms for my Mommas with their babies. Each litter was in these Playpens. All 3 pens held up for 10 weeks and can be used again. Not that I'll have 21 pups at one time again. What I'm trying to say is these playpens are very sturdy held up really well even for the rambunctious Boxers.Clean up is really easy with it all made of heavy plastic, only metal is for the locks. When all the puppies were gone, I simply sterilized them and put them back in the box they came in for easy storage. The pictures I hope are a help. FYI, #3 was only taken because I wanted to have a picture of the 2 litters together for a second.I highly recommend these IRIS Playpens with extra panels.

Exactly what we were looking for
A week in and so far so good. I needed a closed off area and wasn't looking forward to a metal gate in our spare room. This pet play pen was very easy to set up and stays put on the carpeted floor. I got the 24" 4-panel with 2 extra panels package (using 5 panels in the picture) and it was exactly what we were looking for. We rescued a 4-month old kitten that has some bone/skeletal issues so he isn't able to climb or jump over the sides.

Needs a lid/top
The play pen was nice and light and very easy to assemble and move. For the right kind of dog, the play pen might work well. For our little munchkin, no so well because, unbeknownst to us, our pooch is part monkey. The first time we put her in the play pen, she climbed up the corner, using the sides as a ladder (see picture). After reaching the top, she just flopped over the top edge, landing outside the pen. She, and we, were lucky she didn't hurt herself falling onto our wood floor. We figured out how to put a lid on the playpen and it now serves us well.

Nice puppy pen.
I shopped long and hard for the perfect puppy pep for my new Papillion. The pen was easy to assemble and very durable. Unfortunately, I dog (4 lbs.) was able to scale the sides. (He actually climbed it like a ladder. Super agile circus dog!) Anyway, I didn't intend to put a top on it to create a jail so I returned it. For a pup that's a non-climber, I would highly recommend. I tried the 24 and 36 inch tall play pen, Easy return...

Good for temporary pen and moving around easily
Super easy to assemble. Great for a temporary pen for our dog. By 14 weeks he was too strong for this to be a long term pen for him.
