One of the first things I did for health after discovering my husband is pre-diabetic was ordering this xylitol. I've used it in the past so was already familiar with the brand and product so went straight to what I already know and trust. I feel like the price is good for the amount in the package so am happy with my choice. This xylitol lets my husband enjoy an occasional sweet without causing his blood sugar to spike. I even carry a small container in my bag so he can order unsweetened tea and add xylitol to it to enjoy his drinks more when we eat out. And it works equally good with foods as well as drinks. Just keep in mind that, although the texture is the same as granulated sugar and it works well as a substute for sugar in recipes, it isn't quite as sweet so use extra to taste. And, speaking of taste, it has a good, clean sweetness with no aftertaste like stevia has. I will continue to purchase this Now pure xylitol to keep on hand.

Great price. Xylitol tastes exactly like sugar with no aftertaste or glucose spike. I didn’t realize xylitol could be made from corn instead of birch bark with the same chemical makeup. Much more environmentally conscious way to use corn cobs vs rarer birch bark.

Great price! I don't use this as a sweeter. I brush my teeth with it and put in my mouth wash. Great for a dry mouth and it kills bacteria. It's a lot cheaper to make your own, instead of buying products with Xylitol in it.

I have been buying this Xylitol for past 10 months, great taste. All 7 of my kids (even more special ed son) use it for oral health after brushing teeth. We have a subscribed to receive this monthly

I purchased it to use as a sweetener only for the dental benefits in addition to my mints and gum but learned that a total of 6 to 10 grams a day is sufficient for dental health and shouldn't cause harm . There are exceptions - some people shouldn't use any amount. Since this is a pound of xylitol, it will last quite a while in the very limited amounts i need. The NOW brand has larger granules than sugar and has a good taste.

I am not diabetic, however, I firmly believe that there is too much sugar in pretty much everything we consume these days. So anything I can do to reduce that consumption I feel is a plus in my book. For quite a long time, I have been looking for a sugar substitute that tasted as closely to sugar as possible, while at the same time being just as easy to use day-to-day. After trying other products, I happen to come across Xylitol. While he is not 100% identical to sugar in taste and texture, it is the closest of any sugar substitute that I have ever encountered. I have been using it for a couple of years now cooking, in my coffee, etc., and I must say that I really really like it. I will point out that I feel like it solves a little bit more slowly than sugar, but this may be me. I’m not actually based on reality. I also haven’t encountered any issues with digestion and have not noticed it bothering my stomach at all. All things considered, I think that this may be a more healthy way of adding sweetness to foods compared to regular sugar.

I was so apprehensive about getting this brands. I normally buy a different brand that’s three times the price. But this is amazingly delicious and it does really well in jam.

そのまま舐めると甘くて冷んやりとして不思議な感じです。 上白糖よりは甘みが薄いのですが、クセや特有の匂いなどは全く無く、そのまま砂糖の代わりに使用できます。 また食後に、だんだんと口の中がネバネバしてきたり、歯がザラつくことがありますが、キシリトールは口内の菌が分解できず、働きを阻害するため虫歯予防にもなり、舐めるだけでもスッキリします。 なので自分はコーヒーに砂糖の代わりに入れています。(風味には全く変化は無く、飲むと口の中がサラサラしたままの状態をキープできるのでかなり快適です。) 化学薬品のような名前ですが、天然由来100%なのも安心です。 摂取してもすぐに血糖値が上がらないなど、砂糖の代わりに使うメリットは多いのですが、値段が若干高いのでコーヒーにチマチマ入れるだけになりそうです。 ティースプーン2杯で3g程度なので、コーヒー150杯分くらいと考えればそこそこ持ちます。 何よりも口の中がネバネバしない事が快適なので、なくなったらリピートします。
