this thing worked great. I was a bit concerned due to the comments in the reviews about pairing with the fan. No it didn't come with instructions but it was no problem at all, something readily and easily found online both in written and youtube video form though I guess I'll give it 4 VS 5 due to lack of instructions

The correct remote for my fan but I'm having a hard time getting it to work. It only works if I put the battery in part way. If I put the battery in all the way it won't work.

We rented a house and the ceiling fan remote was so old and barely worked even with new batteries. This replacement was a bit different looking than the original Harbor Breeze remote but as soon as we set the pins and put the batteries in, it worked perfectly. So nice to not have to push the button over and over to get the remote to work anymore.

If you have a Harbor Breeze Mazon 44-in Brushed Nickel Flush Mount Indoor Ceiling Fan with Light Kit and Remote (3-Blade) DO NOT BUY THIS REMOTE, not compatible. so the idea is that the dip switch on your remote and receiver have to be in the same settings. After spending 2 hours carefully unmounting fan, since receiver is all the way on top part, it turns out receiver doesn't have switches to toggle, I even open the receiver and nothing. I ended up getting a universal receiver on lowes, spliced wires and it was back running.

I am quite satisfied with the quality and performance of this Anderic Replacement Remote for my Harbor Breeze ceiling fan. My original one broke and my husband purchased a different one. It works ok, but I wanted another one so we could have one by the couch and one mounted on the wall. I used this one for the wall as it is not beige like my old one and the other replacement. It is much whiter and looks more modern and goes better with our updates. It was super simple to set to work with the ceiling fan. Simply open the back, set the dip switches to match the other one, close it and you are good to go. It also came with the battery. I would highly recommend this remote a replacement!

This remote has the dip switches to sync up with the fan. The model fan I own doesn’t have the matching switches. I wasn’t able to get them connected. I encourage everyone to double check the fan model number before purchasing.
