LEGOTechnic 42000 Construction Set F1 Car

I really want to have this items for about 6 months ago, and now i can say, i have it.On firts place, i love the formula 1, and when i now that lego make this product, i want it, because i have a lot of the best lego products, and until moment, and i want to complete with this piece, the best for my now.When you finish to build the formula 1 car, about 2 or 3 hours, you can think and see, that lego maybe can make a better job to finish some places of the car, like the front and rear wings, or in the deflectors of the radiator, and is real, but the finish and look are very well finished.All the places of the car are very fine, not excelent, but very good lookYou can combine this piece with motor and remote. You can move all things that this products move with remote control, i think you must move the selector with the hand, but not are sure of this. You can choose the formula one to build but you can choose between formula 1 or a fast truck. This products have 1141 pieces and maybe you can get about 15 or 18 pieces free, that come inside the box and not have to put in the construction fo the formula 1.You can move some parts of the car with the selector:* The wheel, and you can see the front wheels move* The motor cover, goes up and down and you can see the motor compartment, with the exhaust tubes.* The rear wing, goes up and down, like the drag reduction system are now in formula 1 cars.* Another you can see move are the pistons when you move or drive the car to the front or rear, the pistons move.The front and rear wings are very well finished.You can see and feel the real independent suspension in front and rear, with full and real funtionally.Other important thing, is the size, about 2 feets or 60 cms long, i love it. You must look in house a permanent place to put this. I found my place in house to put formula 1 car.In my opinion, all the formula 1 lovers have to get 1.Thanks all for read.Salutes. Bye, bye.

The Lego Technic Grand Prix Racer is an excellent model and has great details. Expect about 3-5 hours build time, depending on your speed. It has tons of great features, like functional suspension front and rear, functional rear wing, and mechanized engine bay cover. There are a couple of small details that I wish this model had. First, the model only has three exhaust tubes per side, but the car is a V8 engine; it needs four exhaust tubes to be authentic. Second, there are no brake rotors/calipers in the set; the wheel simply mount to a hub. I think this set would look more authentic with actual brakes too. Overall it's a great purchase and looks awesome once assembles, and seems pretty sturdy.

My son and I really liked this model. It was very fun to put it together, and my little 8 year old learned a lot about basic mechanics of a combustion engine, suspension and steering for cars. The stickers are great also. We did a foto shot after it was finished and it looks great. We are looking forward to buy a power set to add a couple of motors to it. There is a video in the "tube" how to do it, how ever it will be much more fun to figure it out. I review the other legos, like Ferrari F1 and McClaren, but are pricey compared to this one.

This set has a lot of features that will warrant purchase for most Lego Technic fans. The set includes newly released panels in white, new steering hub design parts, working suspension, and measures an impressive 24" long. The hood/top of the car as well as the rear scoop are operated by on turn wheel, and a lever to switch between the two.Pros:- Big! This thing is huge.- Lots of useful parts- Nice color scheme when the stickers are applied.- B model is really cool, the stickers work well on it too. It could pass for an A model.- Option to motorize the functions.Cons:- The front third of the model looks unfinished. Lego could have done a lot better here.Even though the front end of the model leaves a lot to be desired, it's scale and color still have some display appeal. The B model is impressive, which is a big plus. If you a serious Technic fan it will make a nice addition to your collection.
