Motor blew after only 6 months of use!

I have had this hair dryer for over 7 years. It’s the second one I’ve bought because my husband and I loved the first solano dryer so much. Keep the filter clean of lint . I do think this adds to the longevity of this hair dryer. You definitely get what you pay for.

I've had a couple of twin turbos. I was surprised to see that I bought this a little over 6 months ago and it's already dying. I guess it's time for a different brand. 200 dollars for a hair dryer that doesn't last is crazy.

I'm in my 40's. I've never purchased an expensive hair-dryer. I never felt it really mattered. I was going to splurge and buy a Dyson but saw a TikTok review of three hair-dryers that are less expensive and as good or better than the Dyson. So, I purchased this one as it was the cheapest of the 3, around $200. I was very surprised at how quickly it dried my hair, but also how smooth my hair was! I have very long, average thick hair that is wavy. I typically blow dry and curl or blow out and use a straightener. I blew my hair out with a brush and did not need to curl or straighten it. It was smooth and looked very healthy. My daughter has much more coarse hair with tighter curls around her face and I blew her hair out last night and it was the smoothest I'd seen it probably ever besides when she gets a haircut and blowout. I don't know anything about how or why hot hair blows differently from one dryer to the next, but I definitely saw a huge difference using this hairdryer. I just got it, so can't comment on the longevity of use, but for now, I think it was well worth the money, and this is a great hairdryer. One note, the box it came in was beat up big time, so I wasn't sure if it was going to be broken, but it was ok. I would just say for something this pricey, either the manufacturer or Amazon might want to package it more carefully. Recommend if you want to splurge on a dryer.
